Driveway Reseal

The work was completed on time, neatly, thoroughly, and as described. We went with sealing of major cracks and some more square footage than the advertised deal. The extra charge was very reasonable.

I was very impressed with Joe Wheeler Blacktop Seal Co! My driveway had not been properly maintained by the previous homeowner. Whatever they had used on it before was a mess now! Wheeler came out and re-sealed it and it looks great! A few days later, I noticed it was chipping in some places so I called them and they came right back out and fixed the chips (which were a result of whatever the coating was that the old homeowner put on).

It went great. The representative called me for available dates, we set a time and they arrived on schedule. Unfortunately, I misunderstood and was out of town and left a car in the driveway, but they called back and rescheduled. The work was performed as agreed upon the next day and completed just a few moments ago. It looks great!

My drive was a little bit bigger than the deal, so i had to pay a bit more. i thought they missed a few spots the first time so i emailed them. they quickly came back and repllied anywhere i thought needed it. nice job.

We paid a little extra to have them do a few more cracks. The guys were on time and worked quickly. The coating was very thick and took a few extra days to cure before we started driving on it.

Sealed all the cracks, added extra sand on an incline, and seal coated my driveway. They were very careful around the edges of the drive and my new landscaping. After an initial screwup with an email or two (totally not their fault) they got back to me right away and scheduled the work. They showed up on the appointed day and completed the work in a timely fashion.

Paul Wheeler, Joe Wheeler's son arrived 2 hours earlier than expected which was good for us since we had requested he try to squeeze us in a day sooner than he had originally planned. He finished other work sooner than expected and came right out to do our job. Fortunately, we had good weather and the job went well. Paul worked alone but did a thorough, careful, job. He also applies the topcoat using a wide brush having stiff bristles. It works as both a squeegee and a brush. Both he and I feel that the application using a brush is far superior to the spray-on method, despite it taking considerably more time. He uses Brewercoat, a local longtime company from the Cincinnati area. Bottom line: I got an excellent topcoat application, at a fair price, and will definately use Wheeler's again when the time comes.

They completed the job for the discounted price quoted on Angie's list. He was prompt and completed the job on schedule and the driveway looks great. I asked for extra sand to be added to the slurry because of having a sloping driveway that gets slippery. They did as I asked. I will definitely use them again.

I contacted him. he came by and gave me a written estimate. I bought the Angie's list deal. He set a date and completed the work on that date. I was pleased with his work.

One on the best jobs to be done on my driveway. My driveway is in poor condition but they filled all the large cracks and even patched some of the larger cracks. Put a thick coat on and did not scrimp on the hot tar or seal coating. Would hire again.

Wheeler and Sons was a great choice to have my access lane resealed. Mr. Wheeler was very responsive and courteous on the phone during both the estimating and scheduling process. His quote was the most competitive that I received. The company arrived early on the day the work was scheduled. The lane itself looks fantastic now that it has been resealed. Wheeler and Sons did a fantastic job for a great price. I will be calling him when the lane needs to be sealed again. In short, I highly recommend using this company.

Beautiful job. Joe was very courteous and prompt in returning phone calls. They did the work while we were on vacation so all went very smoothly. We would use him again.

They came out and gave an estimate that was too high so we decided to not work with them and have requested a refund from Angie's List.

Joe reseals our driveway every year and does a nice job at a reasonable price.

This is the third time they've done our driveway, and they've done a great job all three times. They returned my phone call within 8 hours, they showed up promptly for the estimate, they did the work when they said they would. Very punctual and great customer service. No spills on the apron.

It was a good experience. They came on time, worked without supervision, cut away grass, swept drive, filled and sanded cracks, put down quality black topping, and put up signs to block traffic.
