It was a very efficient process from initial concepts, revisions, final quote and installation. The installation completed before the holidays and we were able to appreciate the transformation immediately. With significantly reduced wattage, it was easy to justify dusk-to-dawn lighting. We often find ourselves looking out the windows and enjoying the landscape, even in the winter. The recent snowfall was simply spectacular.

Lighthouse Landscape Lighting installed professional, high quality metal low voltage lighting in our yard to replace plastic Malibu lighting purchased from Home Depot. We always had some kind of issue with our do-it-yourself outdoor lighting including water leakage and bulb replacement. Our new timer is set to turn lights on and off based on a GPS system. The lights know when it is sunset and turn on at the right time regardless of the time of year. Just set it and forget it. Our new lights are in the right spots to showcase our property. The shape, size and wattage was tailored for the each location. No hot spots! Great, knowledgeable and experienced people.

Joe Orrender does a very good, thorough job on his installation and set up. He works to keep the disruption to the yard and landscaping to a minimum and then reviews how all systems have been installed and how they work. He gave us the option to have the timing cycles set to whatever modality we wanted, thus we opted for all night illumination for security purposes. Very pleased with how Joe handled the entire process. Would definitely recommend Joe and Lighthouse Landscape Lighting and am considering expanding upon what has already been installed.

The lights look great and the neighbors agree. Joe was very easy to work with and I recommend him highly. We really like the effect of the lights in the back. wow.

Everything went great. The only draw back was he didn't have the ability to show a demo of the product on the house. However everything turned out well. He showed up on time, install was done within a couple weeks of agreeing to the project. Also price was about 500 dollars lower than nearest competitor.

I have existing landscape lighting that was installed by a professional landscaping company when our home was built in 2008. This was the landscape designer used by the home builder. I had three light fixtures that were holding water inside them and had rusted out. So I needed help with repair to an existing system. I found Joe on Angie's List and contacted him. He explained that this was his busiest season and that they were really swamped with work and it would be a few days before he could get to me. However, I didn't have to wait all that long. Joe arrived on the day he promised and called me when he was in route. He and his assistant were both very professional and knowledgeable. I had Joe replace the three malfunctioning fixtures at $180/apiece including installation. Some of the others were of the same type and will also fail eventually, but Joe suggested I wait until they go out to replace them. Basically, "if it ain't broke - don't fix it". I like that thinking. The fixtures seemed kind of expensive, but they are very high quality and will probably last longer than I will. While Joe was here he checked the voltage on my other fixtures and improved the ones that were reading too low. I can tell a difference in the performance of the system since he fine tuned it. I am very pleased with my purchase and will call Joe again the next time I need landscape lighting services.

They had lifetime warranty and their work was transferable. They were not perfect but they did a good job. The workers were fine. Every thing is working fine. The quality looks good. I would use them in the future.

From the time I called, Joe got over to give me an estimate within a week. They were behind on some jobs due to all the rain but I was informed of that. They did fit me in as promised and did all the work while I was away on vacation. I returned to find the lighting all done and could see no indication they had been there. All the wires were buried and my own original landscaping looked untouched. Joe recommended some backyard lighting which I hadn't considered but is now my favorite part. It was not cheap but I felt confident that they would do a professional job and they did. I did not price out other companies so don't really know if the price was higher than others. I also opted for the LED lighting which cost more and required transformers. After signing the contract I changed my mind and asked for two transformers instead of one so I could have different timers set for front and back. They accomodated me without any problem - I paid for the difference naturally. When you talk to Joe you realized how much he knows about lighting and the different options.
