Excellent workmanship and cleanup when finished

We used Markco. We had a problem with our toilet. I don't know if it was their fault or somebody else fault but we have had some problems with it and we had to have another plumber come out. They were prompt. They did a good job. The price was average.

They did well.

They did a great job. They were in and out in no time and were extremely courteous. They wore protective shoe covers in the house. Cleaned up any mess they made and some they didn't make and did a fantastic job. I'd use them again. Cost of visit I thought was a bit high in comparison to other providers but they do an excellent job.

I had them pick up the shower base from Agean Marble, remove the old shower, add new shower rough in valves and a new line to an Ell tap for a hand held shower. I got great advice regarding placement. The demo portion went pretty quick. They ran new copper pipes and did a great job securing them. There is absolutely no clunking pipe banging sound now when we you turn on the shower. The pipe and valve install took longer than I expected it would. The shower base install took longer than I thought it would. Over all, it was a full two day install and I thought it was going to be done in a day. Markco is my got to plumber. I've used them to replace a couple valves under my sink and they came out to trouble shoot a valve defect in my new shower at no charge. When you need a plumber you NEED a plumber and they have been great at finding time to get the job done. Are they the cheapest? Well for the shower install, yes they were. I didn't have time to get bids for the valve replacement under the kitchen sink. But I thought the price was fair. Tip: If you are going to install an Ell, be sure you research options for a snug fit against tile.

Went very well. Very professional. Worked quickly and efficiently. And CLEANED up when finished.

We had water dripping through the drywall ceiling in the basement. I had shut the water off to the house thinking it was a busted pipe. I called Markco the next morning just to be courteous of the time of day. They said they could send someone out that afternoon but then called back and hour later and asked if they could come immediately. That was even better news. They called to confirm on their way here and put their foot booties on before entering the house. They cut a hole in the ceiling drywall and determined that it was melting snow and ice off the front porch that was leaking in the house. Great news that it wasn't a busted pipe! We had thought our outside spicket was busted last year because it spewed water everywhere when using it so we asked them to look at that. Turned out to be a bad rubber gasket in the relief valve part. Once that was fixed all was good. They were fast, respectful, and very helpful with advice. I will call them next time I need any plumbing work done.

After trying to do it ,myself, I called Marko and was able to get a courteous and professional plumber here the next day. Length of blockage exceeded 25' . Met all my needs. Very good character people.

repair man didn't have the part so he went to a store to get it. I had to pay for 2 hours labor for this.

WE started out working on a set agreement , which amounted to about half what i actually paid in Total, But we had the worker's foreman do a bunch of things that weren't on the original accepted quote, Instead of estimating each additional "item" the workers did, we just asked if they could do it, and they either did it or offered to do something similar. Since some work wasn't in the original bid, I just paid them as they requested up until the final couple of weeks. At about 45,000.00 approximately 25,000 more than the original Bid, I thought they had received enough, and the weekly bill stopped coming. So when they finished in Early March, I thought all was paid in full. I received a final bill from Markco shortly thereafter which was very high. I immediately contacted the company owner and we met to discuss the bill. After some "back and forth" chat. In which he thought the job was baseed on Labor and Materials, Both the company owner and I realized that. EVERYTHING MUST BE IN WRITING. When we were all finished, I felt I had overpaid, and the Contractor felt we hadn't paid enough, But since there was no written agreement we just called it a day and both of us parted with some disappointment.that still exists on both our sides. THE BILLING ISSUE , UNFORTUNATELY, OVERSHADOWED THE FACT THAT THESE GUYS, MARKCO, DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON THE TOTAL REMODEL, THEY WERE THOROUGH AND PRECISE AND THE JOB THEY DID WAS SUPERIOR TO WORK I"VE SEEN BY OTHERS. SO, Other than the billing issues and cost issues, which damaged the relationship I'd had with this company for many years before, they did very good work, and I would recommend them, But get everything in writing to avoid the conflicts we had.. e

Professional service from beginning to end

I called and they were there within a half hour. They were professional and creative in their work. This was a very packed drain and took them longer than they usual to clear it. This is why the cost was higher. I felt they earned their pay. But they did it and cleaned up after themselves. They were very nice and answered any questions I had. They felt at this time I didn't need them to run a camera through to check the condition of the pipe. I had been told by another company that the pipe had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Probably not true as the pipe appears to be still in decent shape. I appreciated their honesty and will have them again if needed. They believe in fixing the problem and not doing more unless the customer wants it.

They were excellent. They were always on time and were clean. They cleaned up their mess. They stayed within the estimate. They are also very nice and easy to get ahold of.

They were great. I called them in the morning, and they were there within an hour. They were very professional.

Markco did a fantastic job. In my master bath is exquisite Italian tile. He stayed within his original quote, although the scope did change a bit. He was so reliable that he handled a permit application for my husband & I while we were in Europe just so we would stay on schedule.
