Burcor Fencing

Had difficulty with communication, but otherwise we had no issues. The installation crew even helped a neighbor with a dead battery after installing in the hot sun all afternoon.

This is a follow-up to an earlier review. A neighbor's landscape service damaged a few posts in the fence and I contacted Burcor to purchase some replacements. It took longer than usual for them to receive the parts from the manufacturer and whether it was from the delay or the initial installation issues, Jeff provided them to us at no cost. We didn't ask for them to be free and fully expected to pay, so it came as a nice surprise. We appreciated his customer service and based on the past few interactions, we'd hire them again.

Not good. I've been trying to get an estimate since Aug 12. 2016. They are nice enough to reply to my emails but I still don't have an estimate. I've sent the needed form with attached photos of the repairs needed but still nothing. Now I'm on Angies' list looking for a new fence company.

It went well from the very beginning. Scott came out to assess our needs and provide helpful information for the end result. He was very helpful and professional. The cost was very reasonable and less than we thought it would be. The fencing was installed when the order came in. Installation went very well. It was a quality job. The fence looks awesome!! The crew cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the fence and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I first reached out to Burcor Fencing in the middle of June 2014 to see if they could do some fence repair, and possibly install a small gate at my deck. They had been hired by my landscaper in 2010 to install a fence around my back yard, and it is starting to have some problems. I began by e-mailing them a detailed description of the work that needed to be done. I sent 11 photos with descriptions of what the issues were with each part of the fence. I put a lot of work into composing a clear and straightforward message. I got no confirmation or response. I called Burcor on June 30, 2014. The woman I spoke to said she would remind and quot;Joeand quot; to reach out to me. Again, I heard nothing. Busy or not, if they are not interested in doing the work, the least they could do is let me know.

Company representative told me they would come out Thursday July 17th for estimate. Was called Wednesday July 16th that they would not be able to meet on 17th and the estimator would call and give phone estimate the 16th. Comapny never called or called back since.

From start to finish we have had a professional and efficient experience with Burcor. They came out for an estimate in a timely manner and were professional and knowledgeable. We had several estimates and Burcor was one of the lowest prices. Our fence is perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Called for estimate 2/19 / Vicky visited 2/25 stated wanted Robert to come out to do estimate / Vicki called with message Robert would be out on 2/27 / called Robert after no show said would get me a bid and did not need to come out / called Robert 3/4 and said would come out to see 3/5 / called left message for Robert 9am 3/7 no call back / called again 3/10 left message for Robert to call / Robert finally called 4:30 3/10 to advise not interested in fence job but will be out in next couple weeks to install next door neighbors fence. Reason provided was that rear fence section which is a cleared fairly level 6' wide path through woods was not anything he would send his crews to work on. Process to get this answer was way to long and difficult. Already have two other bids but was expecting Burcor could offer lower price since will already have crew and equipment next door.

I just can't say enough positive things about this company! From the time the sales person arrived and walked me through the process to the last nail being hammered, itwas flawless. Everyone was a true professional. They removed my old wooden fence and installed the new posts in less than a day. When they returned to install the new fence. it was completed within six hours. We do not have a small yard. They even made the three gates on site. Nothing was prefabricated. Very impressive! Just a great experience.

Their price was comparable (or better) than other companies we'd spoken to and the fence appears to be high quality. The work was completed within the time frame quoted. They went out of their way to make the process easy for us. They even helped us with issues with a different contractor; our surveyor went MIA and they helped us contact him and get our documents.

Because we were having a pool installed, Burcor came out and put in temporary fencing surrounding the pool area. Required by city until the permanent fencing went up... After they came out like a week sooner than they had anticipated. The guys were very professional, friendly and a delight to work with and were on time each day and the fencing went up like clockwork. The day they finished up they asked me if I wanted to check everything out. I was concerned about the areas under the gates where my 3 1/2 lb yorkie could squeeze through. The guys went the extra mile for me and added fencing to the gates to deter my rotten dog from escaping. I was very pleased and thrilled that they were so concerned about my small dog staying safe. I'd highly recommend Burcor Fencing to all my friends and even after the job was done the owners wife came out, walked the length of the fencing with me just to make sure I was happy with the job that was completed. They are a very good company to work with and I think the pricing was fair. My husband and I are very very please.

My wife wanted something special and Burcor came in with the best bid and seemed to understand our needs. We had a delay in delivery because of all the rain this summer but that wasn't their fault. When the time came the installation crew was amazing. They are professional, courteous and go out of their way to please the customer. I highly recommend them.

Besides some miscommunciation between two of the employees everything we great. We have no complaints with our fence and it looks beautiful.

This was a great experience. As soon as the estimate was agreed on, they began work within a few days, even though they told me 2 weeks out. They finished in one day as well. They also contacted the utility company and had utility lines checked. The workers were professional and our fence looks great.

After finding out that I could legally fence more of our yard (according to zoning regulations), I called Robert and asked him to return to my house to fence another area. He had been to my house 3 months earlier to replace an ugly chainlink fence that came with the house. He and his crew completed the job on schedule in the freezing cold of February. The dogs are so thrilled to have a bigger yard. Robert will be my first call for all future fencing projects, and I recommend him to all my neighbors and friends.

Robert and his crew at Burcor made very quick work of re-fencing our yard. It was important that it be done quickly for the dogs who are used to accessing the yard freely through the dog door. The crew pulled down the old, ugly, chainlink fence, including the part that had 2 trees growing through it. They cut down the trees, as requested, before putting up the beautiful new Kentucky board fence, complete with wire mesh backing to keep the dogs in. I was so thrilled with the work that I called back 3 months later to have an additional part of the yard fenced.

Burcor did a fantastic job on our fence - it looks really great. We had a very tight time frame; since we have dogs, the fence was the last piece holding up our move to our new house. Mr. Burch was professional and easy to work with. One of the reason we selected his firm was he took care of everything for us like calling the utility underground service. The others that quoted wanted me to do the leg work. It may be a small detail but it was really nice to have someone really help in the service industry. We went from quote to finished in less than two weeks. Mr. Burch said he would have the fence completed by move. and quot;Bring the dogs with you, we'll have you ready.and quot; And they did! The crew worked through the weather and did a great job. I feel like if I have any questions or post installation concerns Mr. Burch and Burcor will be there to help. Highly recommend them for your fencing needs.

The interaction was very good. He was convenient to use. He also had a good price.

Excellent quality, fair pricing, they lose points on punctuality and communication. The fence was completed about a week after they said it was going to be done. I had to call their secretary three times to get someone to call me back for an explanation. Finishing a week late is no big deal, just keep me in the loop. I don't feel like I should have been the one to call looking for answers after the fact.

Robert is absolutely awesome. We were having issues with older neighbor kids and wanted the fence up relatively quickly with school starting. Robert gave estimate on Monday and completed the fence by Thursday. They worked quickly and professionally. Robert is a pure gentelment. I have called a couple of times to have gates adjusted due to settling and they always come out within a week. I will always call Burcor for all of my fencing needs.

He was nice and seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. The cost was very reasonable. However, I asked if he would come back and put a board between the fence post and the house to cover a space that was open (not very big but doesn't look good) and to check if the gate was closing properly. He said he would do it but never came back. The gate is working properly but he did not return to check it even though he said he would. They also left very large piles of clay soil all over my yard and also inside my neighbors yard near the fence which I had to pick up myself - I wasn't expecting that.

Mr Burch and his son did an excellent job with our fence. They completed the job in a timely fashion and left me very satisfied with the end result.

They did an excellent job, did the work during bad circumstances, and got a good job done.

MR. BURCH WENT COMPLETELY BEYOND HIS JOB DESCRIPTION IN DEALING WITH A COUPLE OF 'DIFFICULT' NEIGHBORS WHO HAD CONCERNS ABOUT PROPERTY LINES. HE TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND COOPERATED WITH THEIR INPUT, SO THAT NO 'FEATHERS WERE RUFFLED'. WE'RE VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXCELLENT, HANDS-ON WORK HE DID, AND HE ALSO GAVE A COMPETITIVE PRICE.

WAS REFERRED INITIALLY TO HIS SON ,WHO IS IN THE SAME BUSINESS, BY OUR BUILDER, HOWEVER, AFTER THE INITIAL SET UP OF THE MEETING, HIS SON WAS CALLED OUT OF STATE FOR ANOTHER JOB. HIS FATHER, ROBERT BURCH, CALLED ME PROMPTLY TO OFFER HIS SERVICES. HE CAME OUT TO GIVE ME A QUOTE TO INSTALL A FENCE IN THE BACKYARD. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME AND SHOWED QUITE A BIT OF EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE. HE WAS ABLE TO INSTALL THE FENCE WITHIN 1 WEEK OF INITIAL QUOTE. HE WAS ONLY SLIGHTLY HIGHER (WITHIN $100) THAN OTHER QUOTES I HAD RECEIVED, BUT DUE TO HIS LONGEVITY IN HIS FIELD, AND WILLINGNESS TO INSTALL ON SHORT NOTICE, I DECIDED TO GO WITH HIM. IT TOOK HIM TWO DAYS TO COMPLETE THE WORK. THE FIRST DAY TO DIG THE HOLES AND CEMENT THE POSTS; THE SECOND DAY TO FINISH. HE WAS EFFICIENT, PATIENT WITH ALL OF MY QUESTIONS, AND CLEANED UP ALL OF THE MESS LEFT BEHIND, INCLUDING WASHING OFF MY DRIVEWAY.
