Description of Work: I originally ordered my wood flooring Sept. 2013. Wood was delivered in damaged condition and after Buddy's re-order, was again delivered in damaged condition. A third time we ordered from a different mfg. which was unsatisfactory since it was cheap and thin material. Finally, I went with unfinished product that had to be sanded, finished in my home. In the meantime I had to live with bare concrete floors since they had torn up the carpet in order to install the wood. This experience took a total of 3 months. I truly thought I should have had a reduction in price, just for the aggravation, but was only offered $100. The people in the store were quite friendly and considerate but felt this could have been handled in a more expedient manner.

+ -1 moreWe met with Don Wilson at Buddy's Carpet and he was very helpful in making suggestions to fit our needs. He came to our home and took measurements as scheduled. The installer came on scheduled day and was did a very nice job installing the carpet. Our only complaint was that the installer left a lot for us to clean up and the bed frame in the guest bedroom was very wobbly from not tightening the frame bolts when he reassembled it. We are very pleased with our carpet.
Description of Work: Re-carpeted three bedrooms and stair case in our home.

+ -1 moreKim, the manager at Buddys' Carpet was my sales associate. Very knowledgable, personable, helped with selections, called to check that I was pleased with work. I stopped in the showroom and called her on several occasions with questions and concerns prior to installation start date, she was always glad to assist. Was able to schedule the work on Saturdays (work was done on three consecutive Saturdays), that was very important due to my schedule. All installers arrived timely, were friendly & courteous, and I felt comfortable having them working in my home.
Description of Work: Laminate installed in kitchen, gentleman who installed flooring was very efficient and did a fantastic job. Carpet put down thru remainded of home. Carpet installers were also efficient, hard working, experienced. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. In each case, old flooring was removed, installers cleaned up/prepped-then installed new padding and new flooring. Also clean up was done after installation was complete. All installers obviously were experienced, very efficient and hard working.

+ -1 moreThe salesperson (Kim) came to my house to give me an estimate for a carpet install. She was friendly and professional. She took measurements and gave me an estimate for the install. The estimate was lower than I had expected. She gave me a date for the installers to come to my home for the job. They arrived on time and made short work of the job, which they had finished in under 4 hours. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreThe installer’s name was Danny. We’ve used him quite a few times. We said we didn’t want anybody but Danny to come to our house because we have had bad experiences with others. We have never had a problem with him. He is very professional and does wonderful work. I would recommend him.

+ -1 moreBuddy's helped me to find an inexpensive carpet to replace the one my cat destroyed in our basement. I asked for cheapest quality, so the carpet installed is not very soft, but it looks nice. They were helpful in matching the stair carpet and their installer was efficient and clean. The price was right - would definitely use them again.

We purchased it with installation, but the guy showed up and said that it would cost extra for removing the under pad of the old carpet. I was not ready and wanted to contact the supervisor. Finally they did the job for what we paid. This was because they had subcontracted the installation. They came when they said they would come.

+ -1 moreThey were pretty prompt in arriving for the initial estimate, but after we accepted their bid we learned there was only one installer (sub or not?), and he had to reschedule twice because of car trouble. They originally thought the job was going to take one full day, but it actually took parts of 3 different days, spread out over a week. The work he did was very professional and good quality, and we're happy with the end result-- it was just a bit frustrating having our furniture moved out of the rooms for so long.
Description of Work: removed damaged carpeting and prepared rough floor in partially finished basement; installed vinyl flooring and rubber baseboards for 3 small rooms.

+ -1 moreThe installation was on a slab, so they repaired some of the concrete. They laid down the carpet pad and installed the carpeting. I was not able to see the seam because they had the seam pieces together. They ordered some extra carpet and covered the closet area too though I did not ask them to do it. It was at no additional cost. They seemed to know what they were doing. They took a little longer than they thought they would need to complete the job because they had little difficulty to match up with the seaming. The end result was good. I went to their store to get the carpet and they explained it with different lights.

+ -1 moreThe salesperson, Ms. Carson, was very helpful, patient, and not pushy, like other stores we had visited. The store had good prices, was flexible with measuring and installation dates, and people showed up as scheduled. The installation was good, but my only complaint was that the installers could have taken more care during installation with our baseboards. The basement had just been finished, and everything was newly painted. The baseboards were left with some dents and rub marks where the metal tool was used to push the carpet in around the walls. Overall, I would use them again, but I would watch the crew next time and ask them to be more careful.
