+ 2 moreI contacted Szabo to pour and finish a 16'x24' concrete patio. The owner Randy came out and measured the pad, quoted me $2k and left. He told me that he would call me the following Monday to set up the pour date. Monday came and went and by Tuesday I was calling and texting him. That was over 4 weeks ago and I still have never heard back. If you want concrete work done skip these guys because they only care about their municipal contracts. The owner was also short, rude, and obviously wanted to be anywhere else but at my house. Save yourself the pain and hassle and call someone else like I did. I inquired about replacing my driveway and he quoted me a ridiculously high number and when I contacted other certified concrete companies they came in between 30-50% CHEAPER and they all said he was price gouging or he simply didn't want the job.

+ 0 moreI gave the above ratings based on the concrete job itself, but they are a bit lower because of the above problem. Payment in full was Sept. 2, 2016. I think I have waited long enough for a resolution to this problem. I am on fixed income and do not think I should have to pay someone else to fix it.
Description of Work: I had a concrete patio poured. This involved removing layers of other concrete and a deep concrete layer of steps. A couple weeks after we had a hard rain and a window well filled up and water ran into the basement. Never had this issue before. Contacted Randy Szabo about this and he did not know why this happened, but would figure it out and get it fixed. Patio was done the end of August 2016 and he was paid in full the following week. 2 months ago he promised he would get it fixed with drainage tile and after numerous phone calls it is still not fixed. 2 weeks ago he promised he would be here the next day. Still has not shown up and has not responded to my voice messages. I have a sump pump in this widow well to drain it during heavy rains, but I need to monitor it because sometimes it needs an adjustment to work. I cannot leave my house when it rains and also lose sleep when it storms at night.
