+ -1 moreI would HIGHLY recommend using Neiheisel plumbing. Their entire team was kind, reliable and overall did a great job with a tough project. The project at our 110 year old home took 5 days to complete and they cleaned up after themselves everyday and made sure to have the water off in our home for as little time as possible and were super positive and happy every time my husband or I chatted with them. Great service, fair prices, and a great team.
Description of Work: Re-lay all sewer pipes in our basement floor.

+ 0 moreThis is the company you want for your next plumbing project. The plumbers who came out to do their part on our bathroom remodel were courteous and extremely skilled. They went above and beyond to make sure the plumbing would meet our needs. We live in an old Victorian farmhouse and the plumbing they installed was like a work of art by the time they were finished. It was not an easy installation by any means. I have nothing but respect for this company.

+ -1 moreNeiheisel Plumbing had serviced home prior to our purchase. The kitchen faucet leaked continuously and had issues with leaky connection to washing machine. They knew this issues with both faucet and washer prior to appointment. They did not inform me that they had recommended replacement and that appointment was not useful. The plumber came and stated those facts and was of little use. Essentially, they knew the problems and did not communicate. Therefore, we paid for an unnecessary service visit. Due to these issues, we will not use them any longer.
Description of Work: We called out to Neiheisel plumbing to evaluate kitchen faucet and washer /dryer connection.

Description of Work: I purchased a service deal from Angie's List for $107. I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling with a visible stain. They came out and looked at the stain, then I showed the tech the laundry room on 2nd floor where I suspected the leak from. He peeked behind the machine, never moved anything. Couldn't find any signs of water. Said it may have been a one time thing and left within 20 mins of arrival. He took my coupon for the $107 and then later that day I was emailed a balance due for an additional $49! The bill showed the service call to come out was $98 & they charged me an additional $49 for work done! They did not do any work. I have been going back and forth with this company to get this bill resolved and they refuse to respond to any of my attempts at contact. Angie's list has also been trying to reach them and is getting the same treatment. This is a scam!

+ -1 moreIt was good. They came right away. My toilet was leaking through the floor. My toilet on the second floor was leaking through the ceiling on the first floor. They came within a few hours when I called and completely fixed it. I watched and it's a pretty hard job. So, I thought that was the reason for the price for it. They're putting on there seal.

Friday the 13th no less. checked the water heater, tried to get relate the pilot without success. checked Angie's list Neiheisel's was highly rated and close, called them at 8am. Description of Work: During Kitchen remodel, we had an issue with the refrigerator leaking. They came out VERY quickly (after calling others who could not make it for days), and fixed the problem. So, we called them back to install new faucet and hook up dishwasher.

Description of Work: Came on 11/7 to look over project. Said would send estimate via email on 11/8. No response after two additional phone calls to him on11/11 and 11/14. Extremely disappointed with them, if not interested he should have said so in the begining. Also while here he told me doesn't like installing neo angle shower doors would not give any warranty, and did not like price pfister shower kit I had purchased for project,,preferred moen or delta. I also needed drain cleaning doe and shower drain extended to match up with shower pan. The least he could have done was return my calls.

I believed I needed to have a new wax ring installed, but was advised that a new toilet would be a better option (original was 66 years old). The plumber told me my options, went and picked up the new toilet, installed, and hauled the old one away. I also thought I needed several drarins snaked, but he did a quick clean out and was honest enough to let me know I didn't need the more expensive service. All services were performed very quickly - will definitely use again!

+ -1 moreCalled Neiheisel, gave them model of water heater I wanted. They put me on hold for less then a minute while they checked for availability. They returned with quote and install date (next day avail.) Eric showed up right on time, removed old unit, replaced with new tank, and replaced shut off valves (2). Filled tank, lit pilot and checked for leaks, all was well, total time was appox 2 hours. Hauled away old tank, no extra charges, no surprises. Job well done, good price, no nickel & dime charges. Recommended for your plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Replacement of a 50gal natural gas water heater. Replaced main water shut off valve and tank water shut off valve with ball valves.

Description of Work: We found a small water leak dripping down the piping in the basement so we called Neiheisel Plumbing to investigate and fix the problem. They quickly located the leak and completed the repair job in less than an hour. The leak was propagating from the first floor half bath.

+ -1 moreI called Neiheisel Plumbing because I had a leak from my hot water heater. I have used Neiheisel for many years and have always been satisfied until recently. The plumber arrived in a timely manner but did not take any time to examine the tank or offer any solutions. The tank was going to have to be replaced. The service was fine but my complaint comes when I got the bill. The bill was over $1000 which I assume is a fair amount, but an estimate of the cost was never offered. The bill had no itemization of the charges on it. I called the office and spoke to Dave and requested an itemized bill. He told me that they have a set fee for water heaters and could not provide the itemization. I am not questioning that it is a fair charge for the service, but I do believe it is a reasonable request to have an explanation of what I am paying for.
