They went over the operation of the new system and cleaned up after the system was installed. + -1 moreMatt came out to my home and explained everything to me in depth (unlike the other companies I had come out for estimates). And he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They came the next week for the install. My old heat pump furnace appeared like it would be impossible to remove from the tiny closet it was in. But Sonny was wonderful! Not only did he get that thing out of there, he never gave up nor did he complain about it at any time. Justin was outside in the cold with the other part and he did a wonderful job. They both were very knowledgeable and very pleasant. No mess was left behind, which I was great full for. I paid a little more than the other quotes I received, but I believe you get what you pay for and I most certainly did. I thank them all from the office staff to the installers. Job well done.

+ -1 moreWe choose Trane product, their specialty. Product has worked flawlessly. Well worth all the money we spent. Very professional, and efficient. They aren't cheap but I believe you usually get what you pay for if you research the product and company first.
Description of Work: We had them install a brand new heat pump and furnace about five years ago. Now use them for semi annual check ups. The maintenance contract is priced fairly.

They do very good, quality work. I had their sales rep come out and give me a quote for a new system, as well. I really like them and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Technician was professional and competent. This was a Spring Special $69 air conditioner service call. Bad joke. My 7.5 capacitor was reading 5.0. They wanted $157 for a replacement. I said "no" because the price was so obviously ridiculous. After the technician left I ordered one for $10 on Amazon! In addition, two 35 amp fuses needed to be replaced at the outside unit. The price was $89 for two 35 amp fuses. Total rip off.

+ -1 morePurchased a new system from them two years ago. The old heat pump, and furnace were completely replaced from "the ground up:", We have had absolutely no issues with the system. It cut our bills and provide even heating and cooling. Recent semi annual inspection was without any issues or problems. Technician was prompt, friendly and professional. Highly recommend this company for any of your heating and cooling needs. Note they sell Trane but are able to work on other systems.

Description of Work: Needed emergency service. They came out within 2 hours,. Very pleasant and knowledgeable .....had our furnace up and running within an hour after they arrived. Great service!! Couldn't ask for a nicer, qualified technician...Bryan. They replaced the blower and cleaned up other parts.

Couldn't get the ducts balanced. The damper kept whistling. Had to return multiple times for that. absolutely do nOT recommend! Office didn't keep records of who was here last.

Description of Work: This is for my maitenance contract. They call me in the spring and fall to set up a call to check out the furnace and air conditioner. The service technician was very polite, called when he was on his way,wore booties , so not to leave dirt on the floor, ask if I had any questions and he was very thorough. I'm e had experience with other companies, and Arlinghausair is far above the rest. My technician was Jake Patterson. A very nice young man.

+ 0 moreArlinghaus performed the fall cleaning/maintenance for my furnace. This was my first experience with their service and I was pleased. I read their reviews online and found the service to be very much in-line with everyone else's. Jake did find a faulty capacitor. The blower motor was replaced by another firm several months ago via a home warranty program but the capacitor was not replaced then. Jack recommended replacement, which we did. Jake answered all of the questions I had and offered a simple maintenance item I can perform every few months. This was something another larger company in NKY did not offer when they performed services last year. I was very pleased with Arlinghaus and will be using them in the future.

Description of Work: This review is a follow-up for service provided by Arlinghaus. We initially called on them to check out and repair our full house a/c unit, resulting in replacing the capacitor (July, 2013). In October, 2013 the entire unit quit working and we called Arlinghaus again. The diagnosis required replacement of the unit/furnace and several options were presented. In the interim we were offered the use of temporary inside a/c unit at no charge. A new efficient whole house unit was installed and the cost of the capacitor installed three months earlier was deducted (without our asking). Soon after the installation of the new unit, we added a whole house dehumidifier to the furnace and have not had the dryness previously apparent. Most recently, yesterday, Doug was sent to investigate why there are so many temperature variations in our home and was able to pinpoint several problems that were due to the construction of the home in the mid-90s. There was no charge for this evaluation, which was extensive. He gave us guidance on how to correct these issues on our own. We appreciate his expertise and the ability to save us money. Thanks!

+ -1 moreInitial contact was at a Lowes, where a crew from Arlinghaus was handing out a special pre-season cleaning / inspection. Second contact was when I made the appointment for the service. Third contact was when Arlinghaus called one day in advance to confirm appointment. Fourth contact was with the service technician Jake, who called roughly 15 minutes ahead of time to tell me he was on his way. In all four contacts, the people we encountered were friendly, courteous and customer focused. Jake performed a complete inspection of the heating unit, and fixed a problem with the whole house humidifier as well. Total time start to finish was roughly an hour, maybe less. Great service by Jake.
Description of Work: Inspected and serviced heating forced air unit. Checked and replaced filter, cleaned overall unit. Resolved issue with whole house humidifier not working.
