Arlinghaus Heating & Air Conditioning

EXCELLENT service! Arlinghaus had a new high efficiency furnace and air conditioning system installed withing a week of my old furnace breaking down. Mike W. came out to my house and assessed what I needed. He gave me a good price for a highly rated brand (on Consumer Reports) and high efficiency unit. In the office, Ruth worked to get a great financing deal. Then Mike C and Dewayne worked like crazy getting the unit installed in less time than what was estimated. No sloppy work, they just didn't even take breaks. Before they left, Dewayne explained how to set my thermostat and change my filter. Professional, courteous, efficient. I could not ask for more.

Everything went great. Jake was promptly on time when he gave us a quote and explained all the equipment and how it was to be installed, he even showed up the day of installation to make sure everything was going Ok. Mike and Dwayne were promptly on time and introduced themselves They quickly went to work each knowing what tasks to perform. They were very professional and completed the job in the time they said they would. Wore booties when in the house , cleaned up and explained the operation of the system. I was very pleased and would refer and use them again.

The installers did an excellet job installing and cleaning up the surrounding areas when finished. Arlinghaus was a great company to do business with and will definitely use and recommend in the future!

Very well. The installation team consisted of (3) workers; Billy, Tyler, and Tim. They arrived on time and worked without interruption until the job was completed and tested in operation, late afternoon. They worked well together, were very professional, courteous and helpful to each other, and showed a solid, positive "can do" attitude throughout. I appreciate the job well done and can only add my thanks to each of them and arlinghaus HVAC in general. I had obtained bids from (2) other Trane dealers, and this was the best all around response.

Better than I could have hoped for. Greg was here at the appointed time. He explained my options and was able to install the humidifier the same day. I had expected to have to schedule another call for the actual installation. He was very polite, cleaned up after himself, and was friendly and courteous.

It went very well. Jake proposed 3 different systems in response to our request. Jake is clean cut, prompt, courteous, and has an excellent professional attitude. We chose the system that we wanted and signed a contract for the job. All of this was free, so we are looking forward for the job to be done, within the next few weeks. I came home from work around 6:30 on the coldest night of the year and my heat was out. I called about 6 different of the "top" companies and Arlinghaus was the ONLY one that was able to come out and help. Every other company said no and I would have to wait until the next day. Being a single father of 3 kids this was unacceptable. Service specialist Don Weaver was out to my house within about 30 minutes. Immediately identified the problem. He has all the parts on the truck and was able to get everything fixed. He was very informative and showing me what was wrong. Would highly recommend.

Excellent. Cody recommended I had a new condenser installed to improve power as the furnace was still running on the original (20 years old)

Slow response time due to weather conditions and heavy workload. Knowledgeable service tech. No hard sell tactics which was appreciated . Very professional manner for tech. Good communication with contractor on status of service request. Expensive for work done. Replaced small part (igniter) in 18 minutes after arrival at my house. $323.00 for a a part I could have purchased for less than $50.00.

Bryan Nelson came to our home for the $47 check up and cleaning. He went over everything with us and showed us what repairs needed to be done to our system. He was here for quite a while, explained everything to us and answered all our questions. We decided to get a new more efficient furnace rather than put the money into repairing our current one. Furnace was installed on 12/4/17 and both installers were very professional and cleaned up after they were done. Took about 6 1/2 to 7 hours to install. I have had questions and some issues that I needed them to come take a look at and they were very responsive and sent someone out to check things for us. Everything is working as it should be. I trust Arlinghaus and feel comfortable dealing with them.

The technician, Don W was great. Knowledgeable, polite, I give him the highest marks.The timeliness of scheduling was also satisfactory. The cost of the service was much more expensive than I was anticipating, and I should have gotten other estimates. Based on the humidifier unit put in (not a high end digital unit, pretty basic), plus new copper pipe for getting water to the humidifier, I estimate the materials to be around $200. So the other $450 was labor and in addition there was the additional $89 diagnostic/service call fee. It would go a long was to make a sticker shocked customer happy to waive the $89 service call fee, when you are going to be charging an additional $600+.

The job went well - tech's were professional - always letting me know what was happening; especially if it was something that might alarm me. Donny T, Kyle C and Grayson were exceptional - they worked continuously without breaking in freezing cold temperatures. Their dedication to the install was very much appreciated. Purchasing and contracting were also a pleasant experience - Thank You Mike. Thank You Connie for your great customer service. I would recommend Arlinghaus Heating & Air to my family and friends.

Mike W. Was excellent ! He worked with me through all the difficulties of my situation, answered all my questions, worked hard to keep my finance deal right at the cutoff and really went way above and beyond !. I had oil heat and a non working a/c unit and wanted to get a whole new system and convert to electric heat. I had 10 heating and air company's come in to give me an estimate, almost all was in and out in 5 minutes, they really didn't give me any information on what they were gonna do, it was basically heres the cost take it or leave it. When I had Arlinghaus come, I could tell from the start Mike knew exactly what he was doing. He went over every detail with me, what they where gonna do, how this system would run and save me money, why it was more effective to change to electric heat. Mike made sure he matched the right equipment to my home. He was the only one to do a mesurement of the house and tell me what he recommend and why. He answered all my questions and went over every detail with me. I felt good knowing I made the right decision and I feel Mike really represents Arlinghaus very well. He really sold me on the company and the product just by being honest and knowledgeable in every aspect. He worked with me on a long process of trying to get my system installed due to unforseen circumstances with my electrician to change over to electric heat. He kept me informed and made sure I got all my promotions and rebates. I would recommend Mike White And Arlinghaus to any and everyone I know. I will absolutely call Mike with any of my or my family's heating and air needs. Mike is an excellent comfort specialist and I know he will always try and do his best to make sure you know exactly what your getting and be there to answer any questions !

Tom was great. He was punctual and patient with my issue upon arrival. He even called me when he was on the way which allowed me to work part of my day in the office.

I called Tom a good detective. He patiently checked out all potential sources of sound, which was sounding like it was coming from the thermostat. He found the new carbon monoxide detector left by the last service person ( of which I had forgotten). It needed a new battery. He was very professional and helpful, checking replacement batteries for me.

Not well. Jordan G. and started on the tune-up. It took him nearly an hour and 45 minutes to "complete" the work. As I have small animals, I told him to make sure he closes the door to the area where he would be working, otherwise, I might not be able to find my cats. When we said he was finished, he reviewed the paperwork with me, I signed it, and after he left, I went downstairs to make sure any lights were turned off. Well, the door was open and lights were on. When I entered the area, the electronic filter was laying on the floor, had not been cleaned or replaced, one of the latches for it had been bent, and the furnace was still switched off. I heard some noise in the area, and sure enough, had to move most of the stored areas to retrieve one of my animals. I'm not sure what Jordan did while he was here for so long, but it wasn't was I contracted Arlinghaus to do, and therefore, they will not enter my property again. It is clear this person was not competent to do the job.

Mitchell was very professional and thorough when performing the work on our system. He adjusted our thermostat to the settings we need for winter heating and provided a video tutorial for future reference. My wife and I have been extremely satisfied with Arllnghaus over the past several years.

Work was accomplished by Don W. who was professional, friendly, clearly experienced with our system and took the time to explain what he was going to accomplish during this visit. Showed us the parts he was replacing, and gave us a few ways to set our thermostat to save us additional money in heating and a/c costs.

Fantastic! Cody S. arrived and within minutes found and repaired the problem. Could not have been happier. Cody also recommended a low cost method to prevent future issues and a maintenance program to insure better operation.
