Excellent, I contacted my Arlinghaus representative (Dan Shields) who responded promptly and scheduled the service technician (Andy Caudill) to be on-site within two hours. He and his partner Matt were extremely knowledgeable. They listened to my issue, diagnosed the problem and presented options with pros and cons for each. Once the decision was made, Andy & Matt were efficient and clean on changing the new unit out. They instructed me on how to use the new unit and were on their way. Can't thank Dan, Andy and Matt enough! True professionals from start to finish.

Initially, I was very impressed with the fast response and courteousness of both the customer service rep, Susan and the Service Tech, Don. I called about 8 a.m. on a Tuesday morning, just hoping to get someone to look at our unit by the end of the week. I was shocked when they said they would be able to have someone at my house that day. By 9:55 a.m. I had received a call from the Service Tech and he was on his way to my house. Once there, I showed him where everything was located and he started diagnosing the problem. After about 30 minutes he came in to tell me what the problem was; a bad "run capacitor". He gave me a VERBAL quote for replacing the run capacitor, cleaning the condenser coil and the diagnostic service call. This quote was he he said, "right at $500". Then he made another suggestion, adding another part, a start capacitor, which he explained would prolong the life of our unit. The quote for adding the start capacitor to the other service items was $627. I asked how much it would be if we just did the start capacitor at a different time and he told me that part alone was around $312. I thought, wow, that means we are getting that part for 1/2 the price it normally would be and asked my adult son who was there with me what he thought and we decided to go ahead with the start capacitor, the run capacitor, the coil cleaning and obviously the condenser coil cleaning. All of this was verbally discussed. Don did not have his tablet in the house with him, he was using his phone (gave some excuse, but I don't remember), so he didn't give me nor have me sign any quotes until everything was said and done. Don finished the work in about 30 minutes, took my payment and I was on my way back to work. Before he left, he asked for my email so that he could email me a copy of the invoice. Much to my surprise, when I looked at the email later in the day, the actual quote for the run capacitor, condenser coil cleaning and service call was actually $420, not $500. Now maybe that is not a big deal to some people, but to me that is a significant difference and had I known, I probably would have decided to just have the necessary service and not the added service he was so highly recommending. Additionally, the invoice he sent me didn't list each of these services separately, they were listed under a "Summer Savings Package 2" which tells me the Service Techs are being pushed to sell this package to make additional money for the company. In hindsight, I should have had him give me the written quotes before agreeing to the service and I might have caught the upselling scam. If I use Arlinghaus again, I will make sure I review a written quote before agreeing to any service. I am glad they came quickly and I'm glad my a/c is working, but I now feel like I was scammed to purchase additional parts that might not have been necessary.

I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY HIGHLY! THEY'RE THE BEST!!

In and out in about 2 hours, technicians, Donnie and Kyle were extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They installed the new furnace, had me inspect what was put in and showed me the new furnace and fillter and shut off. Can't recommend these 2 any higher, as well as Arlinghaus. Customer for 12 years and no problems.

Nick conducted an exhaustive inspection. Upon completion he notified us that the 14 year old units needed extensive repairs. He provided 3 options to address our concerns. We opted to have a complete replacement. Beth provided exceptional follow-up care. Two days later, Justin W. and Roy B. arrived to begin the replacements. They were professional, they showed respect for our home and they provided superior services. We have a heating and air professional for life.

I think it went about as good as it can get. They were on time, gladly answered every question I had and really went above and beyond my expectations. I had some questions about certain types of add ons that the sales rep said would not do much for me. He very well could have taken another road and sold me something that I ultimately would have been disappointed in. I liked that and it is one of the main reasons I gave them the business.

EXCELLENT service! Arlinghaus had a new high efficiency furnace and air conditioning system installed withing a week of my old furnace breaking down. Mike W. came out to my house and assessed what I needed. He gave me a good price for a highly rated brand (on Consumer Reports) and high efficiency unit. In the office, Ruth worked to get a great financing deal. Then Mike C and Dewayne worked like crazy getting the unit installed in less time than what was estimated. No sloppy work, they just didn't even take breaks. Before they left, Dewayne explained how to set my thermostat and change my filter. Professional, courteous, efficient. I could not ask for more.
