Description of Work: The company cleaned up a ceiling that had been damaged by water and fallen.

Description of Work: We had a house fire and they did the restoration. They worked with the insurance company and took care of everything. Barry is the owner of the local Paul Davis Restoration. He was very helpful.

Description of Work: Paul Davis Restoration & RMLDG came out about six months ago to paint our interior walls and redid the ceiling.

Description of Work: Paul Davis Restoration was to come in and upon the discovery of mold and water damage in our home, they were to inspect, and remove ALL of it, and dry the house out completely. Upon doing this, we were to recieve an estimate of the cost of repairs from them to turn into our insurance company as Paul Davis Restoration also does the repairs as well. They only came to our home, set up ONE large dryer in the front bathroom, let it run for approximately 4 days, and every couple of days would come into our home for exactly 15 to 20 minutes, look at the machine, talk, and leave. Around 8 days passed, the machine was moved to the back bathroom, and was left to run there, the same incident there, they would show up, stay for 15 minutes, leave. The 2 bathrooms, and the utility room remained wet, yet they sighted they were both dry. When the insurance adjuster came to look at the front bath, it was then we pulled the subfloor up and dropped a crowbar into the floor, and water puddled, THATS how dry it was. The machine was finally just left to run, but ONLY in the bathrooms after being told OVER and OVER the utility room is WET, under the house, is wet and this is the main problem. It was never completed. We never got the estimate from PDR that was correct and turned them into the BBB, as the estimate they gave was figures such as the following: Restoration of a New Vanity $1.00 New Plumbing Fixing .75cents. Labor for laying Tile complete $7.00hr. Replacing the carpet that was the SAME in both baths AN 80 OUNCE carpet already known by the insurance company to be 39.00 per sqyd - PDR sights 27.00 in the front bath, 25.00 in the back. These are just a FEW of the outlandish estimates given, not to MENTION the work was NEVER finished, as our FLOORS are STILL WET! When we called them out on their estimate, as it was SO LOW, and said you come DO THE WORK, they REFUSED, and said NO, it TOO FAR TO DRIVE, we will NOT DRIVE that far out, yet JUST drove to our house and charged and OUTRAGOUS fee, for work NOT DONE. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY~ We called to speak with them in Owensboro, and were cut off, hung up on, as well as the main office. We left return messages, over and over with both offices, the Main office and the Owensboro office. I WISH I had READ the CONSUMER complaints about these people before I had EVER called them, because now, WE STILL HAVE A WET UTILITY ROOM, and THEY have already charged our insurance company, this absurd amount of money, for work NEVER DONE, and NEVER WILL BE. PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE~
