+ -1 moreI recently relocated to Elizabethtown, KY and made many phone calls to real estate companies in an attempt to find a home to purchase. Most of the companies, nationwide companies, were indifferent, condesendng and unwilling to make any adjustments to accomodate my bizarre work schedule to view homes. Then a friend referred me to Johnny and Joni Melloan, two of the most personable, knowledgeable, patient people I've ever known. I sat with them, explained what I was looking for and from the very beginning I felt as though if I were going to find a home to purchase, it would be with this team as my guide. Not only did they help me find my home, but they were also able to refer me to a local bank who was able to provide me a much lower rate for financing than my own credit union and limited my closing costs to $499.00. I've moved many times over the course of a career, but this is the first time I've felt as though I could actually belong somewhere. Thanks guys.
Description of Work: This dynamic couple and their entire real estate team was relentless in their determination to help me find a home. Though I'm sure I presented many challenges, as I was not one of their wealthier clients who could afford a huge new home, they both made me feel as though I was. They listened, they were attentive, responsive, but most of all honest and patient. The idea of buying a home as a single person was very scary for me. Thanks to both of these great people, i've found a way to make that dream a reality. Thanks Joni and Johnny.
