I wished they would have explained that they could not use the parts I already purchased. I was expecting a cost but not 200.00 to change a part that took less than 15 minutes .

Great! I was very happy with the work. Only problem I was billed to much per hour versus what I was quoted.

Had them come out for two different repairs. The first repair was for a clogged drain and the response was immediate and the man that came out was very helpful. The second repair was for moving some lines of ours in a laundry room and Craig came out for an estimate and then upon my approval scheduled a date for making the modifications. Everything went according to plan and the estimate. So far I've been very pleased with this company.

There were repairs done, but it didn't fix the issue. However, they were very good to come back, investigate further and make repairs. They found a crack that very rarely occurs. They repaired it and only charged me parts.

Fixed everything and did a good job in timely manner. Very efficient.

Hornback came out same day called and resolved the issue quickly.

When I called them they came out the same day I called within 30 minutes of the notice that they were coming. They were in and out in 30 minutes and completely fixed our problem. The two techs were kind and courteous and very informative when questions were asked about what could have caused the clog.

They showed up 5 hours late because I was pushed back for higher paying jobs. Or, emergency jobs, as they put it. Emergency = higher paying. I had a leaking bathroom drain pipe and a busted pipe from an outside spicket leaking into another bathroom's ceiling. The drain pipe that was supposed to be fixed still leaks. I'd be ok with the hole in my bathroom ceiling except I'm not convinced that job is complete either as I haven't had a chance to check the work done in my other bathroom yet. My advice is to fix your customer service skills. Even my part-time employees in high school know how to pick up a phone if they're going to be late.

Plumber was courteous and efficient, he performed the task needed and was very thorough

They are an excellent company and I would recommend them for any plumbing job.

We bought a house and discovered it had a gas dryer. We had the plumber cap off the gas line to be able to install our dryer, which is electric. Then had them check the line to the gas logs in the fire place and show us how that operates as this is the first we have ever had gas in the house. Very quick on the line cap, and very willing to take time to talk about how to operate the gas logs, and show how easy it would be to put a new set in ourselves in the future. Called on Monday and they set the appointment for 8:30 Wednesday. Only reason they get a B on punctuality is they arrived at 9, but that might be due to the rain we've had which might have caused some traffic delay, but is still good. Also took the time to discuss some down the road projects as far as cost. Great experience. We will definitely use this provider again.

Since it was a Saturday, their staff was "on call" and we were second on the list, so there was no appiontment or promised time, but they showed up within the hour of being told we were second on the list. The gentleman started in right away had the entire project finished and cleaned up in less than an hour. We couldn't be more satisfied. Saturday morning called and the repair was done shortly after noon. No complaints here, plus they offer 15% discount to Angies List members.

Asked several questions showed him all three rooms. Said it was interesting that the toilets were bubbling when flushed. His resolution was to snake the main septic drain. which proved to have no issues. He was a young guy which I am not certain of his actual abilities. He was polite and respectful. He did not resolve the issue he was called for. The air flow from the top off the roof was stopped up with a dead animal.

I rated the service as C because he patched a hole in the plumbing with tape and not the correct plumbing material that would not leak in the future. I noted that Yes I would use the provider again only because there should be a separate selection for Maybe.

Richard was the service technician. He came within 3 hours of calling. Very nice, professional. Thankfully it was a fairly easy, quick fix. So he is going to get me an estimate to do some other work in the bathroom. Very pleased. Definitely recommend. Good price too.

Very happy and want the plumber to work on additional plumbing at different location. Came for water heater replacement and found additional leaks but worked out well. They came to replace water heater, the cost seemed about the same as competitors but got a coupon from this site. After replacing water heater discovered other leaks in the line that was probably caused by freezing temperatures. The plumber was able to juggle a few things and stay longer to fix my additional issues. He gave me multiple options and I told him exactly what I wanted done and he did what I asked. He advised me that this could lead me to a more costly fix if I did it my way. This was a little gamble on my part but I got lucky it worked out. I used the coupon I got on this site to lower my cost and everything worked out well.

Showed up on day one 1 hour late. Spent 2 hours trying to find problem of backed up sewer. Ended up calling Vine Grove water to identify where trap was located. City workers had no clue but "Andy" was at least able to track sewer line from house to withing a few feet of the trap. Day two, they were supposed to show up at 8:00 am, showed up around 9, dropped off digger and went to another job. They came back later and started digging, two hours later they found the broken pipe (tree roots) and replaced the pipe and filled in hole. They assured us that the mound of dirt and four foot pipe sticking out of the ground would be removed once the ground had settled. Overall I am sattisfied with their work. Even though they were not on time either day, they got the job done and that is what was most important. My total bill from both days was a little over $800.00 and that is with a military discount. Would I call them again? YES.

Total service time was less than 90 minutes. The guys explained everything they were doing and they were very polite.

The water line burst in rainy weather making working conditions muddy, slippery and very unpleasant. Hornback plumbing personnel were professional, on-time and very courteous. The backhoe operator was one of the best I have seen (I have seen many equipment operators having worked in construction for over 35 years). The plumber making the water main connections inside the home was professional and did an excellent job sweating the copper water lines and connecting the new main water line to the house plumbing system. Hornback plumbing does excellent work.

The work was excellent. Initially thought it was just backed up and then noticed leaking into the basement area. Notified two other providers that are registered on Angie's List with good reviews and neither were available to address this need in a timely manner. Contacted Hornback and glad I did. Andy arrived ahead of schedule, but was called before hand to see if that would be ok...he came out, left to get the part as it was totally gone and returned to finish the work. Highly recommend this organization as they are quick, professional and responsive.

They came out when it was 11 degrees with the windchill much lower and completely re-plumbed our house. They gave us an estimate & stuck to it even though I'm quite sure it took them longer than they expected in much harsher conditions. The 2 guys that came were friendly and professional. They answered our questions and gave us tips for preventing future problems. I will be using Hornback's in the future!!!

explained everything very thoroughly..and removed his boots without being asked...always a plus!

plumbed an additional bath in the basement and installed fixtures. all went according to plan.

When entering the house he did remove his boots with being asked. Very Respectful. Came in asked a few questions. I explained the flushing of the toilet up stairs and the guest bathroom would blow bubbles. When the washer up stairs would empty it would blow bubbles in the half bathroom downstairs. He ran off some probabilities as to the cause and got to work. "I was however surprised he did not have an extension ladder on his truck. to get to the roof, He looked at the main and determined ladder not needed and he proceeded to snake the main. He cleaned up made out the bill and was on his way in an hour and half. Very nice young guy. Very respectful. Thanks for the great job.

He was able to correct our problem almost immediately, and recommended methods to prevent similar situation. It was a first rate service other than being unable to use any water source in the house for about 18 hours.
