We manufacture Advanced Energy Panels (AEPs). AEPs are a retrofit for historic windows or any window people can't afford or don’t wish to replace. AEPs are interior window insulating panels and can be installed in any building –office, home or industrial. AEPs have a higher insulation and air sealing rating and provide greater comfort than most replacement windows, yet they are a fraction of the cost. AEPs are custom made to fit over existing openings, protecting, preserving and improving your existing windows.

We are a FAMILY owned and operated business. We take pride in the Quality of our projects. We treat every customer as we would want to be treated ourselves.

"Kent Weed is a pleasure to work with. I had called several contractors requesting a quote to add a walk in closet onto the side our our house and turn an existing closet into a powder room. He was one of 3 who bothered to call me back. He walked me through his estimate and how they would add onto our bedroom to get us what we wanted. His estimate was reasonable and he stayed in contact with me throughout th project. I intend to use Frontier Builders on our next project of replacing our windows."

B-Dry is one of the largest and most experienced basement waterproofing companies in America, having successfully waterproofed over 300,000 basements. We offer a full range of waterproofing services for homes, businesses, churches and schools. B-Dry® System of Louisville uses the original B-Dry® basement waterproofing system. Our waterproofing system is designed to address all the ways ground water enters your basement or crawlspace as well as saturated soil conditions caused by weather.

"I purchased a house that had been previously treated by BDry of Louisville. The seller failed to make me aware that the warranty on the work had to be transferred within 45 days (to be fair, who remembers tricky little rules like that intended to screw the consumer?) or it was void. Crappy rule, clearly intended to break the warranty when a house gets sold. They have the address - not like there is any possibility of confusion about where the work was done. No now I am selling the house. No warranty - ok, it is what it is. So I just asked Lynn at BDry to just provide a little info on what work was done. BDry refused to disclose due to "company policy" because I wasn't the original buyer. OK, don't understand - it is my house now, but it is clear we aren't getting past this. So I suggest: how about I contact the person I bought the house from, and ask them to agree to let BDry get me info on the job? that should satisfy company policy. So now the story changes: yesterday it was "we will need permission from the person who contracted with us". Today, Lynn asks an unnamed VP (and refused to give me the VPs name when asked - so petty) - and the mystery VP (Lynn said "she") said the only thing they were willing to do is come out for $125 and "inspect" the system and provide a report. All I want is a copy of the paperwork - that Lynn already had to pull and had in hand. How hard is that to make a "second degree' customer happy? But no - not even with approval from the original owner. Disappointing. I certainly won't ever use them based on this experience. To be fair - basement has been dry the whole time we've been there. Not sure if that is because of the work, or because the original flooding hasn't happened again - because I'm not sure what exactly they did."

Egress window services FAQs

It can take up to three days to install an egress window. The window installation team will typically spend the first two days excavating the land where the window will go. If you’re replacing an egress window, it will be spent cutting the foundational wall to accommodate the window, if needed. Often, a window inspection is required to verify that the window was sized and installed correctly.

The cost to install an egress window is $3,900 on average. This cost can be as low as $2,500 or as high as $5,300, depending on the window size, the number of egress windows installed, and the glass quality.

Double-pane windows average between $200 and $500 per window, whereas single-pane windows are more cost-effective at $100 to $400. More luxurious triple-pane windows are more expensive, ranging from $300 to $800 on average.

An egress window is similar to a regular window. However, this type of window opens fully to allow people to escape the home or rescue personnel to enter the home if an emergency occurs. Egress windows are required in all finished basements before they can be considered a living space.

Not only does an egress window add value to your home, but it’s also a basement requirement in most areas. Egress windows offer a 70% return on investment, making them a worthwhile purchase and installation. In addition, most building codes require an egress window to be used as an emergency exit and entrance. Therefore, it is a necessary addition to meet building codes.

There are a few ways to save money on egress window installation. First, choosing pre-fabricated windows instead of custom windows can help dramatically reduce the overall cost. In addition, skipping window extras, like customized frames or window film, can help save money on the price tag without sacrificing the window itself. You should also shop around to multiple window installers to find the best installation deal without sacrificing the quality of the window.
