Seems to me that the mfg provided inadequate info to the installer which was the main reason for the problems. I will now consider these as a viable option of cameras.
Description of Work: He installed 2 cameras wiring and router and set it up on my computer. We had problems with the first front camera. It was a $1200 camera but failed 4-6 times so we opted away from that camera completely. We replaced it with the same camera we have in the back and at a cost of approx $500 each they work "well" The problem I have now is the front camera is not storing the video at all and has an error on it. I have emailed the owner 3 times and we still have not seen any results. He did ask if he could look at the setting via remote on 18 March and and I said yes. Had to email him again on the 25th and he said he is out of town and could check them by remote. Contacted Axis direct and they said the storage disk for these camera needed to be the EXTREME or the ULTRA PLUS. All other type of storage disk have cause problems. Installer was not aware of this at the time he installed or serviced the cameras.
