They arrived when they said they would, got right to work, fixed the problem and insured that it would not happen again.

The kitchen faucet began leaking on a weekend, of course, but I was able to wait until Monday morning. I called several area plumbers, two of which were on Angie's List, but they didn't do the type of work I needed. One works on mobile homes, but not plumbing; another does plumbing but not on mobile homes. Anyway, I called Gammon Plumbing -- the phone book said the new name was Apex Plumbing Solutions. I spoke directly to the owner, Zach, not to a secretary, so I got through immediately and explained my problem. He was working on another job at the time, but said he would be over shortly to take a look at the job. It was less than two hours before he arrived -- I was hoping to get the leak fixed this week -- never expected this afternoon! He took a look at the problem, and headed off to get the required parts. He even called from the store to see what type of faucet I'd prefer, listing the options, and what price range I wanted. Not more than half an hour later, he and his assistant, Josh, were back at the house, all the parts needed, all the tools necessary, and in 15 minutes, the job was done to perfection. While working, both Zach and Josh explained about everything they were doing, and answered every question I had to my satisfaction. They were professional, prompt, courteous, friendly, competent, and I found out that Zach actually lives a very short distance from us! Those expecting to pay less for a plumbing job nowadays had better learn to do the work themselves. Also, fully a third of the total cost was just for the faucet. I have learned by experience that when I try to fix some things, I just make them worse, and plumbing is one of those jobs best left to professionals. These guys were professionals, in every sense of the word.
