Description of Work: This is a repair service contracted through my landlord. I had a toilet that was draining from the bowl, meaning there was no blockage or there was no water leaving the reservoir,so I call the landlord who calls these two men and one shows up at 4:45 p.m. Friday, now again I had no problem flushing the toilet at all but the service man still uses a snake on the toilet and continues to treat it as if it is clogged again,even though I repeatedly told him that it was not clogged the bowl just wont hold water letting in sewer gas that was Friday it became 5PM and so he left saying "lets give that a try and see if that works ".He doesn't get to the door before the water level has left the bowl again and the sewer smell returns,which i had to temporarily fix with a bag of water and sit that in the toilet and they haven't been back since so I'll have to call again and hope this time they read up on how to repair a toilet.

+ 2 moreThey did the job ,Then I found them in an area of the house that they were not supposed to be in.When I confronted them they said they were looking for a screw ,this was in my tool room and they had no business in there,and they made no apologies ,acting as if they had a right to go thru my belongings and take whatever they needed I was floored that they had this much lack of unprofessionalism.If they come to your house make sure you watch them very close so that they don't steal your tools or hardware for the next job they have .they have also showed up without tools in the past and asked me for tools so they could do the job,once they replaced a refrigerator and left the old one for me to remove,I have a herniated disc and they knowingly decided to leave it in the living room any way,another time they replaced a hot water heater and could not get power to it, once they left I plugged the power connector in to the Powerboard and was able to see the problem was a bad connection and made some minor adjustments to it, and I have no experience at all with electricity but I was able to fix what took them hours and they left me with no hot water,because they had another job they needed to get to,but that time they did at least remove the old hot water heater,and even picked it up the next day be very cautious using these people as they will do whatever they want to do.and they will leave a mess behind. Update 1/17/11: not very well since they stoled screws from my work room to do their job.
Description of Work: cleaned out sink blockage and raised and supported drain pipe in basement Update 1/17/11: just an update to my last dealings with house calls they didn't fix the pipe in the basement they broke it then instead of re-gluing the pipe they used duct tape on it so now i have a leaking pipe instead of a stopped up drain from a sink
