We sold that house and the people who bought it had a septic evaluation. They wanted about $6000 to do some modifications to the septic system. They wanted us to pay for it. We paid Zaring to come out and review everything that they had quoted and have them re quote it. We paid them to do it and it was a very good experience. They quoted $2400 versus $5900 for the same work. We are closing next week and we are giving them the allotment so that they can have the work done. They just came out and quoted what it would cost to get done. We did pay them to come out, they charge a service trip. He came out that day and gave a quote that day. I was very happy. I would use them again. I have used them before.

He worked me into his schedule. Cam out and did a masterful job. They checked everything, and told me I took care of it and it was in working order.

We called Zaring and spoke with a very knowlegable woman who quoted a price that truned out to be spot on. The service was scheduled between 11 and 3 that day and the tech arrived at noon. Chris was courteous and had a good understanding of septic systems. He had the problem identified within a few minutes and completed the emptying of the tank and cleaning of the tank and filter in 2 hours. Chris was careful to remove the thin layer of sod over the seeptic tank covers and replaced it neatly when completed. It was out first expereince with septic systems and could not have asked for a better company to work with. Job well done!

First off I'd like to mention that Zaring was $300 more expensive for the same service provided by Rand R Septic Service who we used a month later on a different home inspection. The technician for Zaring was not particularly helpful. He would not answer questions and kept telling us that he would send a report once his boss looked over the pictures. Once we received a report they suggested that we needed almost $1600 dollars worth of repais to the septic system. I called and got the professional opinion of another plumber who told me that they were basically just trying to sell us an upgrade and said repairs were not necessary. I feel like they were just trying to make a quick buck.

From the first interaction I knew I made the right choice. The person who answered the phone was knowledgable about their processes and able to help determine exactly what services needed to be performed and approximately how much it would cost. When the technician arrived (right on time - they even called to let me know he was on the way) he had all the information I gave to the person on the phone so I didn't now have to start over telling him what I was concerned about. Everone I dealt with was courteous and professional.

I am very disappointed in how Zaring left the grounds after installing the septic tank. I spoke with Dave Richie of Zaring and told him I was not happy with how the property looked. They did a poor job filling. Dave quickly told me that per the contract they did not agree to do do any 'finish grading'. He then said they could come back and finish grade it and Zaring would invoice me. When I asked him how much, he told me it would be an additional $550 to finish grade. I declined. this is ridiculous. Mr. Ritchie was right, contractually, I signed an agreement where it did not specify finish grading. My beef is there is a vast difference between finish grading and leaving a huge messy pile of dirt over the filled area. There's is a huge pile that I'm now going to have to address. I did not require finish grading, but I expected a basic grade over the filled area. So yes, contractually, Zaring was correct, but this was rotten customer service. I did not expect my yard to be finely manicured after adding a septic tank but I also did not expect to see this large pile of dirt not graded. This is not my first experience adding tank to my properties. I've had this done in other areas and the contractor did a much better job.

This company is very informative and responsive. The serviceman, Doug, was very professional, told us about our septic system, quickly diagnosed the problem, and then fixed same. He did not try to sell us any useless and quot;add ons.and quot; We will definitely use them again in the future.

I called for service and quoted a price over the phone with the possibility of an additional cost if the distance was longer to the septic tank than one hose. I told them to bring additional hose just in case. It turned out that they needed that additional hose. The technician was prompt and arrived as scheduled. He did a great job and also instructed me on the proper care of the septic tank. I felt like the company was honest and reputable and would definitely use them again.

I recently bought a new home with a septic tank. According to an inspection conducted by the seller, it needed to be pumped. I had contacted another company to do the work, and they didn't show up for two different appointments. I was relieved when I called Zaring that the person who answered the phone was very nice and quickly scheduled an appointment. The Zaring representative who came to our home was right on time and very friendly. Since I had never owned a property with a septic tank, I asked a lot of questions. He explained in detail how septic tanks work and how to care for them properly. The job was done in about two hours. I was very satisfied with the service and price. I will definitely call Zaring again for septic service.

I secured two bids on digging up the old line and replacing it, I selected Zaring ... both bids were about the same expense. It took a week and half to arrange for the excavation, but the crew who came in knew their business and completed the job in a matter of hours. They spent a lot of time cleaning out the sewer lines up system from the replaced section ... which I really appreciated. The system is working fine. The excavated area will take a while to settle and get back to a normal lawn .... but that is part of the process.

I Called Zaring and they came out the next day. The worker uncovered the tank and found it was full and the sewer tile leading into the tank had broken away at the entrance and was stopping up the system. He pumped out the tank, took photos of the break and recovered the tank. I was told it would require an excavating crew to dig up the pipe line and replace it. We were told we could use the toilets but sparingly.

We purchased an older home which needed a new septic system. David and his staff installed the new system in a timely and professional manner. Due to the historically high rainfall and flooding in the Lousiville area this spring, there were complications that our plumber tried to blame on the new septic system. David and his crew came out immediately to trouble shoot the situation. Long story short, the system was fine and the plumber was at fault for issues unrelated to the septic system. During the process of analyzing the situation, Dave was courteous and professional. He never tried to point the finger at anyone, but always stated that if the problem was due to the septic he would fix it- NO CHARGE! He was a pleasure to work with and his crew clearly take pride in doing a good job. Again due to the heavy rains we had, Zaring was unable to regrade the lawn right away, but promised to come out once the ground was dry. They were true to their word and called us to arrange a convenient time to come back before we even had a chance to call them! I can't imagine using anyone else if we ever need septic services in the future.
