Excellent service. I can't say enough good about Don Crouch Tree Service. They did an excellent job, and had the best price of all the quotes we got. Took out six trees for us and ground out stumps. Left the yard looking great. Very professional. Will definitely use again.

The overall experience was great..I would recommend them to anyone.

His price is reasonable and he is good too. He is higher than others but comes in for lot of insurance. I don't like someone doing that kind of work without insurance. If there is an emergency he will be here. He does a good job. After his job he cleans up very well. He knows what he is doing. He has a crane and the crane operator who is his son lifts this guy into the air into the tree and lowers him. Then the guy precedes to cuts the branches out. He has that cable around him from the crane and has some shoes. Then after the trees are cut, he uses the crane to take the branches out and put it as a bed. Then he takes it away to his service centre or his shop and cuts firewood out of it. I will recommend him but he is not cheap. What he does when he comes is he looks for extra work to do and make a deal with me.

Don's wife called me early on Dec 1st. and told me they were going to come out and check to see if the ground was good enough for them to cut and trim my trees. When my wife got home from work the evening of Dec. 1st she called me and said that our trees had been cut. She told me they really did a nice job. It was after dark when I got home and I didn't have an opportunity to check out the job they did. Don Crouch Tree Service did a nice job of trimming and removing the trees we had requested. In addition, it was barely noticeable where they had been with their equipment in the yard and clean up was excellent.

Don Crouch Tree Service Inc Company is very reliable. I have used them about two or three times before. They have always been very fair in price. They have always been very responsive and do good work. They clean up after themselves. They do excellent work. They are dot on time. They come when they say they are going to come. They take away all the debris. I paid them with the check for the last service. They also took a little tree out that was not contracted for and so I paid an extra $50 but they returned the $50 back to me. They are basically very honest. I have used one other company for this service before and they were just a little bit cheaper but I'm not sure if they had insurance and they didn't clean up this well.

Crouch's is based in Centerfield (Oldham County) and has a little more of the "small shop" feel. The owner, Don Crouch, did the estimate himself and was present during all the work. They used a crane, wood chipper, and stump grinder, so it's not as though they didn't have similar equipment to other companies, but I suspect they have a little lower overhead and that helps keep prices down. We had two full days of work for a full crew of guys. They came and cleared everything they could get to from the driveway and the street the first day, then waited until the next week to clear my back yard so they wouldn't tear up all the wet grass. It still did tear things up a bit, but to their credit, they came back after it was all done (without being asked) and did their best to fill in all the tire marks and where the stumps had been. Overall, I was very pleased. They did a good job at what seemed to be a good price. They were very responsive whenever I called them (Don came out a second time on a Sunday afternoon when I had a question about something in the estimate before the work was done). Really nice folks and they did good work.

Two separate appointments for a job extimate were missed without response. I gave up!

Great. Kind of a tricky spot near the house but went off without a hitch. They used a big crane and had no trouble maneuvering down my narrow driveway. Very competent and professional.

He was prompt but the estimate was very high. I trimmed one tree myself in 15 minutes using a step ladder and hand trimmer and he wanted $125 to do that tree. He wanted $150 to trim a second tree (approximately 4 small branches).

HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE. HE GAVE ME DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THE CLEANUP WAS GREAT. HIS WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITH ME IN TERMS OF PAYMENTS WAS EXCELLENT. I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO OTHERS.
