+ 2 moreQuality is always top notch. The person we worked with was not the best communicator in terms of when he was going to show up and do the work. When you are working this is troublesome. I had also asked for a painting estimate and never got it - you could tell he did not want to do it. I am torn - i would suggest them for quality but am not sure it will be low level experience for the consumer. When we used them for the the crown molding, things went very well. That was before the economy tanked so perhaps they do not have the resources they used to have.
Description of Work: We used their small jobs service to fix drywall damage due to stripped wall paper problems. In the past we have used them to install crown molding in several rooms of our house.

+ 1 moreThe job was designed, a start date was set and the work went as planned. The outcome was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this company to anyone needing remodeling. Indeed, we have used them several times and wouldn't think of using another company.
Description of Work: Our most recent experience with Maile was as satisfying as three past encounters over 15 years. The most recent job was a remodeling and redesigning of a family room, including custom made bookcase and display areas and a media area. The job was set out and built just as expected. Maile's friendly, clean and professional workers come when they say they will and get the job done without long and unwanted delays. We have had them do large and small remodeling for us and we have never been disappointed. They are more expensive than some companies, but give highest quality work and finished product.

+ -1 moreThey didn’t seem willing to work with us on the design I gave. He took one look at the work and he decided what he thought would work. They didn’t seem to be listening nicely. This was my first experience in any kind of remodeling job. I kind of felt pushed to do what he felt would work. Whereas the company I hired, came up with several very different ideas. They were even open to suggestions. They were able to make suggestions without pushing a particular plan. They made me feel involved and gave directions, but weren't really making decisions for me. I felt Maile Build, Remodel and Design were trying to make decisions for me. My overall experience with them was fair. I wasn't that comfortable with them. I wouldn't consider using them in the future.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Maile Build, Remodel & Design for my two bathroom projects. I got the estimate in last March.

+ -1 moreWe did not use him. Their professionalism was excellent and their bid was extremely detailed. They actually did call back to see if we made a decision. His price was at least twice as much as anyone else. We thought that he really didn't want to do the work. The only thing different was that he is a big company and we would be buying the reputation. What he did was excellent. If the work was as good as the quality and detail of the bid, it would have probably been great, but it was too much money.

Description of Work: Well, as all the kids say, OMG!!!! We wanted to have our outside,pressure treated, stained deck replaced with one of the new Trex type of recycled materials. After talking to a number of the company's on Angieslist, we decided to go with' Maile Build, Remodel & Design in Crescent Springs.' All we want to say is : What A Fabulous Job They Did!!!! Nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about Tony Maile and his crew of professionals....Dave, Sean and Robbie, and Scott. These gentlemen were wonderful...they were always promt, and called us the couple of days when they weren't going to be able to work due to the pouring rain we were having. They ALWAYS had the proper tools and equipment they needed, and just like Tony told us in the beginning...when we are finished and leave you won't know that we were ever there. Well, as much as we would love to see all the guys again (anytime!) he was true to his word. The entire work area was cleaned up perfectly and not a scrap of anything was left behind. The deck that they rebuilt for us is absolutely beautiful and we are out on it each and every day...they totally ripped out the old (only 9 year old) deck and and rebuilt it with the mateial from TimberTech. They also put in gorgeous wrought iron spindles and a wrought iron gate. Dave was the foreman on the job and he and the entire crew were always so nice and professional the entire job. Tony stopped by a number of times at the end of the day just to make sure that everything was going fine and that we were satisfied. The entire experience was wonderful and as we learned, Maile does way more than just decks...just about everything you need done around your home can be done by Maile Build, Remodel and Design. We now have some interior work on a staircase and a guest bathroom remodel that we are going to have them do later this year. Please suffice it to say that we were absolutely happy with Maile Build, Remodel and Design!!!!

+ 1 moreThey were working in 90-100 degree weather last summer. They had to tear off all of the siding and replace it with the fiber board cement siding. They got the job done within a week, and it was quality work. I would use them again if I have another remodeling project.
Description of Work: Maile Build replaced all of my aluminum siding with fiber board cement siding. We have also used them in the past for kitchen remodeling.
