+ -1 moreI had a problem with my leaf and lawn vacuum. I could not pull the starter cord to start the engine. I looked around to see if there was something blocking the shredder mechanism and didn't see any thing. I took it to Crescent Springs Hardware expecting the worst. I dropped it off and was a little dismayed to hear that it would be two weeks before they could look at it do to the season with the high volume of other breakdowns. I was relieved to get a call 6 days later saying my vac was ready to pick up. It turned out there was a small obstruction, a piece of stick about 5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick, was jammed in the shredder mechanism that I didn't see. I appreciate Crescent Springs Hardware's honesty and pricing. I was in the dark and could have been taken advantage of, but was treated most fairly.

+ -1 moreThey're family-owned. They do a lot of things that the hardware stores don't do. I know they've made parts for me for things that had broken and I can't get replacement parts. They actually cut them and made them beautifully. I don't find that anymore. They do great service. I really like them. But since they are one of the only places around here that do a lot of that stuff, it's just a long wait to get things. Overall, I'm really happy with them. I do have to wait for their service. They got back when they said they would.
Description of Work: I have used Crescent Springs Hardware for the lawn mower repair. I have used them before for a tune-up of my Spring cutter.
