Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning

We decided to have our carpets cleaned after a remodel and before having our furniture delivered. They were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I had a stain appear and they came back and tried another technique. I will use this company again.

My appointment was set for 8:30 at they rang the bell exactly at 8:30. The worker's name was Justin and he went over what he was going to do, asked if I had any special requests and then went right to it. He was finished in less than an hour and my old carpets were fresh again. I would use them again. I recommend watching for their coupons on Angie's List.

I purchased this service as an "Angie's List Big Deal". When I called to schedule a date, the office personnel were professional and friendly. The service men showed up on time, were courteous and professional. They had booties they put over their shoes every time they entered the house. Just a couple of small things to comment on: while I realize they want to showcase the clean windows, it was a bit of a pain to go around after the cleaning and put down the blinds, shades, etc on 20 windows and there were a few spots where it apparently took more than a swipe with a squeegee to clean, but the servicemen didn't take the necessary follow-up step(s) to get them completely clean. Overall, a very good job. I will definitely use this company again.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it worked out great. They did a good job and got the windows nice and clean and we bought a few extra window cleanings from them in the same trip. The extra cleanings cost an additional $100. They scheduled ahead of time, showed up on time and the person who came to do the work seemed very quick, efficient and easy to work with.

Very professional. My husband walked around the house to show them the 20 windows we had picked out to be cleaned. They proceeded to do a very good job of moving/protecting furniture to get to our windows. We have an older home with fairly new, large windows that are very difficult for just one of us to open, fold down and hold, clean and reposition so haviing this done by a professional company was a real treat and a little spoiling! For a very reasonable price, they also offered to clean several other windows, one in particular that is high and difficult to reach. We appreciated that they offered and followed thru with having those windows cleaned, too. I will also note that we had made arrangements to have them clean our window screens for an additional small cost. However, because the screens had damage from the vines sticking to them, they would not charge us as they couldn't get all the small suckers off the screen. The men came with all their needed supplies, worked quickly and efficiently, were physically able to handle the large, folding windows and cleaned up nicely. We were impressed! The only thing I would suggest to others getting their windows cleaned is to wash the woodwork around the windows first before they come. I didn't think about this and had to be extra careful I didn't mess up my clean windows while washing the woodwork after they left. Now my curtains are hung and my rooms shine!

Excellent. Cleaners were very well-groomed, professional, and prompt. Explained the process up front and started with the room most used so the fan could be used while cleaning the other rooms. Our steps turned out much better than expected - this carpet is nearly 15 years old and gets daily repetitive traffic from the garage to the main level of the house. We also have two Golden Retrievers so the carpets get a lot of dirt tracked in. We were extremely pleased with the results. Would definitely use this company again and referred them to a co-worker.

They got lost on their way to the house and arrived when I was leaving. To their credit, they did not charge me for the service. The cleaning was OK.

Justin was efficient, friendly and thorough. He responded well to dogs checking out a stranger on the porch. He explained everything he was going to do....and even extended the areas he cleaned. He provided "booties" for my shoes, and was very careful to wear them as he came in and out of the house. I am totally pleased with the work he did.

I just used Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning the other day. I paid more than I spent for the big deal I added on to it. I spend another hundred dollars if I had repaired two other rooms and two pieces of furniture cleaning.

The young man was on time and very polite . He came in and did his work right away with very little talking to me . He was very careful with the windows and the the other furniture. Answered my questions and his respond to my request was very quick and kind. I would hire him again next year.We very happy with his work.

Technician missed one spot that needed treatment, but I haven't called the company yet to inquire about a follow-up treatment. Overall the work was satisfactory, and the technician was very professional. A small charge ($15) was added for square footage beyond that covered by the original estimate. I also included a tip for services at the normal price.

Very professional. Showed up on time walked through the house and looked at the work to be done, gave me a contract to sign and got right to work. They had to remove and wash screens from most of the windows and many windows had removeable grids that had to be taken off and replaced. The windows are crystal clear!

They called to reconfirm my appointment the day before, then arrived exactly on time. They completed the carpet clearning quickly and even got rid of a red stain of unknown origin on my living room carpet. Very pleasant staff & I'm very pleased with the results

Amazing--on time, offered honest advice and tips to keep carpet it's best. Offered advice on vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, and how to treat pet stains.

They arrived on time and were very professional. They asked my preference about which room I would need dry first so they could do it first and put a super-duty fan in the room while they finished the rest. By the time they completed the service, the carpet with the fan was almost completely dry. I had not moved into the house yet, and all of my rooms were empty, so I can not attest to care around furniture, though I suspect they would have been careful based upon their professional attitude.

I was looking to get the carpet in the bedrooms, hallways and stairs cleaned. My wife and I bought the house almost 4 years ago and have yet to get them cleaned. We have a small dog and noticed a distinct urine smell over the last month or so. I found Red Carpet Floor Care on Angie's List and thought I would give them a call. I left a message for Brian, which he returned in less than two hours. I told him the rooms we were looking to get cleaned and asked about another area rug in the living room since they were coming out to clean. He was very polite and upfront on the phone. He gave me the details about the deodorizer, but asked if I had a pet or was noticing a pet smell. Since I was he recommended using a stronger deodorizer and added that to the bid upfront. I did want the carpets cleaned under the furniture, so there was a small charge (again given upfront) for moving the furniture. I called on a Friday and he said he could be out first thing on Monday morning and the job would take about two hours. They arrived promptly at 8am on Monday morning and got right to work. Brian walked the job with me first to make sure they knew what they were cleaning. He used a UV light to point out areas of pet stains and I was surprised at all the spots that showed up! They cleaned the area rug first because Brian said they wanted to make sure they could use the fan to get it dry before they left, since it was hardwood floor underneath. They then cleaned all the other rooms in the house. All in all, they were done in about an hour and a half. Before the left, Brian walked me through the job to make sure that it was completed to my satisfaction. I could definitely tell that the carpets were cleaner, they smelled fresh, and felt almost like new.

Arrived on time, did an excellent job of cleaning and removing stains. Very friendly and responsive and did not leave a mess. (even left me several pairs of "special" shoe covers so I could walk on the wet carpet while it was drying. Very happy and will use them again.

It went quick, and it looked fine when we paid them and they left. Our problems showed up 4 hours after they left. Our carpet was soaking wet. We got out our Shop Vac and sucked up a good 2 gallons+. And the water was dirty. After the carpet finally dried spot starting showing up in areas we never had spots. As for the drying they stated they use this special fan to help the drying. They put it in the first area they cleaned. Once they finished the other three areas they wrapped up the fan and put it in there truck, never putting it anywhere else. We never contacted them again figuring we just had to wait for it to dry.

Mella Window was very professional!! Extremely professional!! I bought the service from Angie's List Big Deal. Was a GREAT deal!! I am now on their call back list every 6 months!!

It went very well. He was fast and did a wonderful job. He was pleasant and professional. He had me check the windows to make sure they were okay.

Several windows left streaked/unclean. Piece of window broken and we were not made aware until we found it on ledge. Called Company and they blamed "cheap builder windows." Very disappointed with this experience.

These guys did a GREAT JOB!! Punctual-Polite-Thorough-Conscientious!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this organization!

It was a great experience overall. Respond within a day of me contacting their office; no problems with the groupon; courteous and professional. Did a great cleaning job.
