 + -1 moreThey were wonderful! They came to check the outlet and realized that the outlet that was black and dangerous was the one that was running at the head of his bed. It was terrifying to realize this and I wouldn't have known it without them telling me. He (Jack) was wonderful. He came, knew right what to do and checked multiple outlets for us.
Description of Work: I had an outlet in my son's bedroom that his TV was plugged into and the TV stopped working.

 + -1 moreTerrible experience. Had a main breaker fail and was basically gouged for $554 to simply kill the power and replace the breaker. Serious integrity issues obviously. Will never contact for service again. Cannot believe this guy is in business! DO NOT ADVISE SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

 + -1 moreIt was OK, but I have done anything yet. They did find a fuse problem that they felt needed to be dealt with right away, so I went with that and I think it was $385 more. I'm not quite sure what they did. I felt like they were ripping me off, but I didn't know what I was doing. It felt like it was, we came all the way out here, we're going to charge something, and this is what we are going to charge. I had no idea what it was. I felt like they were taking advantage of me, but I don't have any facts. I didn't feel real good about it, but I don't know if they did anything wrong. They got up on a ladder and did something.
Description of Work: Electric Masters did an inspection and fixed a fuse problem. It was a big deal purchase.

Description of Work: Dining room fixture didn't work. Electrician came out and determined it was the transformer. Did not like the one the original had. When he came back the next day with a new one, it blew. First he said the transformer wouldn't work because of the dimmer switch and my lamp wiring was stripped. Then he said it was because of a dimmer switch. Since the lady who gave me this expensive Italian glass fixture had a dimmer on it, and he offered to sell me a new lamp, I didn't quite trust him. He decided the lamp wasn't stripped after all and he'd find another transformer. I told him to rehang the light without a transformer. Turned out that the transformer had a company telephone number, and while that size was no longer available, the company helped me order one that would work and I will have the it installed by my regular handyman.
