They messed up one of the gates. Two whole sections of pickets weren't hammered in right and the gate sagged to where it couldn't move. They came back out to fix it, but told us if we want anything done to this fence again to call someone else. The guy had a very poor attitude and acted like he didn't care.

The crew was very professional and thorough in their work. Immediately following the installation, the salesperson called from the office to ensure that we were pleased with the quality of the work, and told me to call if we had any issues whatsoever. The job was completed when promised and was well done. The crew worked steadily and professionally and were responsive to our needs and concerns. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing fencing work done.

Fence Pros used staple guns and some of the wood they used was warped. The nail gun missed the bottom rail completely, so the board is holding on by one nail. When they gave us the estimate and gave us one number. Then supposedly when they checked our utilities they brought in the fence 3 feet from where the fence was originally placed. We don't know why. It doesn't line up with our neighbor's fence, so we had to call them back for that. The gate they did they only put on a 4X4, but it needed a 4X6. My husband called and they came out. They were several days later than what they told us when the fence was put in. We called them back out for the gate, because it goes across our driveway so we can pull into our carport if we want to. When of the men, not the owner, told my husband that if he saw anything else wrong with the fence call someone else. Then I had to call twice to get back my $60 of fencing that they quoted us, but did not use. They did finally pay that. The owner was very nice, but it was the crew and the crew represents the company. I don't recommend them to anyone.

I called the office on 11/5/08. The secretary told me that the owner was in Owensboro, and she would have him call me. This call was not returned. On 11/10/08 I called again. A male advised me that John (owner) was not there, that he was out doing estimates, and would call. Didn't hear back, called 11/17/08. I left a message on the machine. On 11/24/08 I called the office again. I left another message this day. On 12/1/08 I called and left another message. I did not hear back on these, so I wrote them a certified letter. The first two times I called, my check had not cleared. I thought about putting a stop payment on it at this point. I'm pretty sure he knew that the fence had post construction problems. The top parallel rails on the first large section of fence were spliced together. This was not really noticed until they started to spread apart. Today, over 3/8 of an inch gap exists. This wasn't visible at first due to the paint over that joint. Also, five slats in this section are pieced together. I didn't notice this right away, as it was placed behind the shrubbery. The trim under the top rails has gaps at both ends and is starting to bow due to the rails expanding. The caulking is broken in several places due to the shifting of the rails. On another panel the trim under the rails has bowed outward. This will get worse due to weather. The bottom base board on the outside of this panel is kicking out and away from the fence. I included this in the letter. I filed a complaint with the BBB, he responded stating he had been out more times than he had been, and didn't address the nature of the complaint. Since filing it, he hasn't been back. Mr Dixon has only come to the house three times. Once to re-do the estimate, once to start the re-construction of the fence, once to correct a few problems with he fence. He has not addressed the current problems. He has failed to communicate with me on these matters, and has failed to meet his contractual obligation. Fence repairs remain uncompleted, top two parallel rails are still in two pieces, five vertical fence boards are in 10 pieces, and the caulking has not been done. His response doesn t address the nature of the complaint; he s basically blaming it on me.
