Took money and never show up to put siding on house

This was the second time that we had used Window World of London/ Corbin. The first time, in 2012, we replaced all of our second floor windows. This time we replaced two large windows on the main floor. Window World arrived a little late, but completed the work, and cleaned up afterward. Thus far we have noted no problems and will probably call them again for window replacement.

I met with Window World of London to get and estimate and paid 50% down and signed a contract for my purchase. Then I had to return to work out of state. Window World of London worked with me and was very nice about allowing me the time that I required to take off from work and return to Kentucky to have the windows that I ordered installed. When they arrived their crew was very professional and did a great job with the installation. I have dealt with several other local construction companies during this project (on other areas such as roofing, demolition and rebuilding) and Window World of London were by far the most professional group as of yet. They did quality work without me being there to oversee every minute of the work they preformed. Unlike the other construction crews that I have dealt with. I am completely remodeling an older home and have found that some construction crews try to get by with preforming shabby craftmanship at the price of quality work. Window World did not do this, their work was at new construction quality and I did not have to make any adjustments on their finished product. I am very pleased with the final result and would recommend them to anyone. I am actually considering adding a few more windows to an room extension and if I do go ahead with installing the additional windows I will be using their services again.

I had them out to measure windows. I agreed to buy the windows. I put a 50% deposit down. I called them back and told them I wanted to add two more windows. He came back out and measured and I wrote him another check. When I called back five weeks later they told me they hadn't ordered them because they didn't have a signed contract for the second set of windows that I ordered. They had already cashed my check. They have never once contacted me to tell me what is going on. I still have not gotten my windows. They would not refund my money. They told me they have a team of lawyers and it would have to go to court.
