Honestly, I think Greg is a good, honest person who wants to do the right thing and does quality work. The most frustrating aspect of working with Greg has been his lack of responsiveness and getting on his busy schedule. I’m pretty sure that if I had replaced my entire roof rather than just repairing the roof the work would have been done in a short period of time. In the end a job that I first tried to schedule in December 2013 was started in March 2014 and is scheduled to be completed by Thanksgiving 2014. It was challenging for him to remember to fit my small job into the schedule. He is good at taking responsibility for his mistakes and doing what he can to make things right again. He told me that he is understaffed and overcommitted, which isn’t hard to believe. As far as I can tell, this delay has not caused any damage to my house. He said that if it had been a more severe problem I would have been a higher priority and he apologized profusely for dropping the ball by not contacting me for five months after he promised to finish the final task.

Contractor was on-time, professional, and went out of his way to be there when I was scheduled to as well.

In terms of the man getting here when he said he would to make the estimate, in terms of him personally, I would give them high marks. The man was very professional, very nice. They're very open and very upfront. I didn't really have a trouble with the company, it came down to economics.

This company was great! Owner very knowledgeable and recommended options that would work, and shared what wouldn't work, and why. My husband is very handy around the house and can do almost any improvement project, but doesn't have time to do this kind of work himself, so knew this company provided better information, and were far more reasonable on cost, than the other 2 companies we had come to look at roof and provide quotes. Crew arrived when they were supposed to and left everything picked up and neat when done (and it was a messy removal of the old tin roof that had been coated several times with a water-proofing material). Was also tricky work to line gutters and stop back-flow of water during heavy rains down behind siding. Am confident the work was done was done right and will last!

Celtic Roofing called up and arranged an appointment quickly - the next week. They came out and did the job within the next two weeks as arranged. The job was done and the work looks great. I have asked for Roofing Estimates from them to use them in the future (next three years or so). - pricing may change, but I will at least have a ball park of what it will cost me

Greg came highly recommended by another contractor and he has not disappointed.

Responsive, professional, informative, and honest. The work was completed thoroughly and efficiently. Greg also took time to give me some tips on best practices for avoiding water damage to my home in general, and made some recommendations regarding my gutters, downspouts, and eventual roof replacement. Instead of pressuring me to make unnecessary improvements, Greg provided me with facts and a professional opinion to help me make my own informed decision.

Greg walked me through the insurance claim process and actually met the adjusters when they came. Even though I have been a homeowner for 30 years, I had not filed any claims so this was a new experience for me. It went very smoothly and so did replacing my roof. Prior to signing the contract I had many questions relating to warranty, type of shingles, and I did my research prior to asking the questions by watching numerous videos on roofing. I learned from my research what my builder did not do in 1996 that they should have done by code. My questions were answered professionally and completely. I have a large two story home that is very steep, and it had many angles which made it difficult. Greg had his crew there on time. I expected the job to last two days, instead it was completed in one day. The three dimensional shingles look awesome. He installed all the drip guards that are required, and I watched his men put on the synthetic felt that is rated better than 30 lb. felt. As I began to write this review, the day after, my phone rang and it was Greg on the phone. He wanted to be sure that I was satisfied. That is the type of service I got. I was very impressed and will be using him to replace my roof at my rental property next summer!

good service great results

This was part of a Big Deal, but this should have been called, "Insanely Good Deal". Greg came out to my home the day we spoke on the phone and met me when I got home from work. He described the damage to the soffit and what had caused it (clogged gutters overflowing and causing rot in the wood). Since my house is pushing 100 years old, he thought that the wood for the soffit would be hard to match--and it was. Greg's team came out the very next day to complete the work, which was far sooner than I expected. I also had him clean the gutters, which was not included as part of the Big Deal, so I did pay extra for that. To say that Greg and his team went the extra mile and exceeded my expectations would be a gross understatement. They went miles and and miles beyond the 'extra mile' to ensure I had matching wood for my soffit and Greg personally ensured that I was satisfied that the work I had asked them to do was completed to my liking. Having worked in customer service management for quite a while, I know what good service is. Greg gives great service. He communicated with me through every part of the process and ensured that I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any work done on their roof, gutters, etc.

He came out to look at the what I wanted done. He is uncomfortable doing the job as he was a roofer and this was not within his expertise. He was wonderful and gave me other contacts to get the work done.

Greg was very nice and very easy to deal with. He was very understanding about what we wanted vs. what the deal was offering, so for right now we have decided to cancel the deal. We would absolutely call Greg in the future if we needed to because he was so great to work with.

Mr. Fangman made sure every detail was taken care of throughout construction on the gutters, siding, and roof . He gladly dealt with the insurance adjusters and made that process painless for us. Mr. Fangman and his team did excellent work and also made sure the job site was cleaned up completely. Our rental property is a much nicer home because of Celtic Roofing, LLC.

We contacted Mr. Fangman about our options on a new roof. Mr. Fangman came to our house that day to inspect our roof. He brought us the products that he recommended and gave us some ideas on materials and colors and said he would provide us with a bid by the next day. Sure enough Mr. Fangman called the next morning with a bid. We accepted the bid and he said they could start in six days after they completed previously scheduled contracts. Two days later he called to say that his crew would be their the next morning. Just as he said his crew showed up at 8am to do the teardown. We are not used to having such a prompt response from companies that we have hired in the past to do work on our home. Celtic Roofing was true to their word and showed up every day until the roof was completed. Celtic Roofings crew was very professional and understanding that we were still living in our house and had to come and go for work. The weather did not cooperate with the crew as both days had afternoon thunderstorms and when the weather cleared they were back on the job until dark. Mr. Fangman was their everyday to see how the new roof was progressing. We were impressed, we have not had that attention to detail and followup with other projects that we have hired other companies to do work on our home. All the products that were used on our roof are of high quality and come with a significant warranty. We were one of the first homes to receive a new product on the market. This product is a newly designed boots to weatherize the vent pipes that come out of the roof. We knew from friends that had used Celtic Roofing that we would get a high quality product for a fair price and this is just what we got getting lots of compliments from neighbors that saw how much better our house looked. Our big concern after we saw how nice the roof was looking was what type of cleanup we would have when it was done. Well to our surprise the Celtic crew clean up as they go never leaving for the day with our house looking like a mess and when the job was done our property looked just like when they showed up only we had a new beautiful roof. If you are looking to replace your roof or gutter system we recommend the sure flo gutter system, no more gutter cleaning.
