Description of Work: My grandma needed her roof replaced. I called Jesse at AnyWeather to inspect the roof to see if it would be worth filing an insurance claim. He advised that the roof was in need of replacement because of it's age and that there was no storm damage that would warrant an insurance claim. They quickly provided an estimate to replace the roof and it was very reasonable. The roof was replaced in one day and they even upgraded her to dimensional shingles, which look great! I would highly recommend AnyWeather.

Description of Work: After paying a portion of the total due ($30,000) the workers never returned. Work was left unfinished. Work was performed in a shoddy manner with shoddy materials. Damage was done to our lawn and front sidewalk with their cherry picker. We have tried on numerous occasions to work through these issues with the owner, to no avail.

Description of Work: After leaving my roof uncovered for five days (not a very good reason given) during the late spring/early summer a bad thunderstorm dumped an inch of rain on my unfinished roof ripping much of the felt paper they had up so I ended up with significant water damage in three upstairs rooms. It took months of trying different drywall subs to get the repairs right and still settled for a finished product that didn't match original construction.

Response from AnyWeather Roofing
Unfortunately, we did have to leave the roof uncovered for one day due to a pop up thunder storm, that came out of nowhere. The roof was felted in, and the foreman of the crew thought the roof was secure, however we had the heaviest rain of the entire season and his ceilings did get wet in two rooms of the house. We finished the roof to Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s satisfaction and also took full responsibility for fixing the ceilings that leaked that day. Mr. [Member Name Removed] is out of town 90% of the month so it was difficult to schedule a time to fix the ceilings. He did not like the way the ceilings looked after repair so we continued to correct this issue until it was to his satisfaction and we even gave him a discount on the roof total. Although unfortunate circumstances do occur in this industry, and we can not predict pop up storms, we feel we handled this unfortunate situation to the best of our ability. The water damage has been fixed and the project was completed.

Description of Work: Any Weather did a great job on my roof. I had the entire roof replaced because of wind damage. Insurance covered everything but the deductible, and Any Weather worked with my insurance agent keeping me in the loop the whole time. Painless and great work. I would recommend.

Description of Work: After the harsh winter of 2013, we had a massive leak in the garage (luckily) from step flashing and a small one from a cracked exhaust pipe at the rear of the house. Jesse squeezed us in, came out to access and quickly got us on the schedule to repair. The guy he sent to perform the repair was great and he went the extra mile to assure me that all was properly repaired and performed a whole roof inspection to rule out any other issues. I appreciated he was honest about not needing a whole new roof since it was 12 years old at the time.

My review is a bit complicated. Overall, I'm very pleased that I got a new roof, paid for by insurance. AnyWeather seems to have a real knack for dealing with insurance companies, and they were able to satisfy my insurer that my wind-damaged roof needed replacement. When they ran into an issue with the old roof that was going to cost more to solve, they were able to convince the insurance company to pay extra for the additional work. However, there are some other things to consider. AnyWeather contracts its roofing work out to other companies, over which they don't have very much control, and with whom they're not in the most reliable of contact. I was told that the roofers would be here on such and such a day, and that the job would take one day only. When the company came, many hours late, they took one look at my house, realized they didn't have the right ladders for the job, and they left (after rescheduling for the following Saturday). Saturday came but the roofers didn't, and the people at AnyWeather weren't able to tell me anything about where the crew was, why they weren't working, or when they'd return. Granted, AnyWeather seemed genuinely frustrated as well, but I still consider their inability to so much as contact the roofing crew an indication of a pretty major problem in their business model. The crew finally started working. The job took much longer than expected, about 8 days total. The crew was also not very professional. They dumped debris on the ground without first protecting my A/C units or even so much as talking to my neighbor -- it turns out they were dropping junk (including nails) into the area where he keeps his dog. They also damaged his Direct TV dish in the process and one day left a pile of trash on his front lawn without his permission (even though I told them they needed to get permission, and they said they would). And then, the day after the roof was done we had some very heavy rains, and water started pouring down the wall-side of one of my chimneys, damaging the ceiling and the wall paint. You might expect from all of this that I'd be giving the company a F rating. The thing is, I do think AnyWeather was sincere in all of their expressions of concern. Their responsiveness when I called to alert them about the leak was also impressive. AnyWeather sent some guys out at night, while it was still storming, to see what they could do. The foreman of the roofing crew they hired, although he's not a particularly effective overseer, did offer to go out of his way to repair the damage, whatever it took. I named the terms and he fulfilled them. He seemed sincerely chagrined that there had been a leak. He likes to take pride in his work. By contrast, earlier this year I had minor problems with another contractor who very clearly didn't care that I was unhappy with his job. AnyWeather, and the foreman of the roofing crew, obviously have a very different attitude than this. The upshot, then: AnyWeather Roofing employs some quite likeable people, who will work with your insurance company, and then stick to the budget (or go to the insurer for any cost overruns), and follow up quickly if there are any problems. If you're willing to put up with some rather annoying on-the-job chaos and mismanagement and communication fiascos in exchange for a new roof paid for by insurance, then certainly consider hiring them. To my mind, their very effective dealings with the insurance company, and (the leak aside) the quality of their finished product, mean that I'm ultimately satisfied with them. But given the problems and annoyances I faced, I do have to say that I'd be unlikely to contact them again for any job not paid for by insurance.
Description of Work: I called AnyWeather Roofing to repair some damaged shingles. They found that the roof needed more extensive repairs and so, eventually, I had them put a whole new roof on.

$8,000

Response from AnyWeather Roofing
Hopefully this customer feels the hard work AnyWeather Put in, getting him a brand new $8,000.00 roof for only the cost of his deductable was worth his “Minor Annoyances.” We DO appreciate this members business. He was a great customer, however he was not aware of the process that goes into a project like this, as well as the extreme weather issues we were facing the week before and during this project. Roofing, and Construction is as HARD as it gets. Things WILL go wrong in construction, we feel it is the way the issues are handled that makes a great company, and this customer does express that he was satisfied with the final result, and Satisfied with AnyWeather Roofing. AnyWeather Roofing always takes responsibility for unforseen issues. In this case, AnyWeather worked HARD to make sure this customer was SATISFIED in the end. Overall, in spite of a few minor issues, this customer expressed to me personally that he was happy. He verbally expressed his with the end result and expressed his thankfulness to AnyWeather in resolving the extreme weather, and other minor issues that were unforeseen. We are accustomed to “A” ratings. This is our first “B” rating EVER on any review site. We feel that the annoyances the member experienced were due to the fact he had never replaced a roof before and was unaware of the behind the scenes circumstances, and work that goes into such a large project. In the end we do want to point out to future customers, that this customer was fully satisfied with this project in the end.

The roof went on in 1 day and their crew was polite and professional. They answered all the questions that I had and even upgraded my shingles to the new dimensional kind. Overall it was a hassle-free experience and I have already recommended them to family and several other friends.
Description of Work: My house had experienced some wind damage and we had a few missing shingles, so I thought we just needed a small repair. Anyweather worked along side of my insurance company, and it turned out that that there was more damage than we had thought. Instead of getting a small repair like I thought, we got a whole new roof. It ended up being paid for by the insurance company.
