Let me begin by saying that I understand accidents happen but you dont slander innocent people to try and cover your own a$$. As I was saying earlier this week I woke up to a harts garbage can in my driveway (my garbage can in sight) the can looks exactly like the neighbor across the road, naturally I thought it was theirs so I kindly returned it to their yard. A day later I noticed on the security cameras that a white truck(no logo) was repeatedly driving back and forth the neighborhood being a mother of 3 I was cautiously curious. So when the truck was heading back down towards our house my husband walks out front to see if the driver needed assistance. He began to say he in error delivered a garbage can at our house so we told him what happened and pointed him to the opposite side of his truck where the can was and is still sitting(he didn't even look) to which he said ok ill have to go look at the numbers? Well we thought that was it. Nope! Today I received a letter stating that and I quote:"our driver delivered a cart(can) to this address in error on Monday. Today when he came back to pick it back up, he was told there was never a cart there." What?Really?! Thats not all it also says quote" this container has to be returned to us , or theft charges will be filed in the Sheriffs office in the amount of $100.00 " I havent told them yet that their scam wont work because I have every last second on recording. Or that their driver doesn't understand these words"its right there" or what it means when someone points something out. Idk what they're thinking slandering innocent people over a dumb mistake they made. Idk why he Didnt pick iT up when we showed and told him where it is(that is also recorded) just seems like they are desperately and comfortably scamming people. I dont know how they are with their actual customers but from my personal experience i dont think I want to deal with jerks like this.

Dumpster was delivered and paid for. Called for pick up. Dumpster was at the top of a driveway. Witnesses told us that when the dumpster was in the process of being picked up it seemed to push the truck down the hill, off the driveway, into the yard and across a parking pad at the bottom of the driveway. There was a car parked there and someone had to run and move the car to keep the truck from running into the car. The dumpster hit the driveway and cracked the concrete and there were very large ruts left in the yard. There was also a large black stain left on the driveway. We contacted Harts Sanitation and was told someone would come look at it. No one came so we called back several times. Was told they don't do driveways and they don't fix yards. We had someone meet the driver with the check the morning the dumpster was delivered because we were unavailable and they signed an agreement stating that Harts Sanitation is no liable for any damages to pavement, curbing, yards of driving resulting from it's truck servicing in agreed upon areas. They mailed us a copy of this paper. We talked to an attorney regarding this and was told even though it is on their paper they still are held accountable for certain damages. A few months before our incident a neighbor of ours had their garbage bin ran over by a Harts Sanitation truck. They had not used the services but one of their neighbors had. They were told they were not liable for the damage. We were not aware of this until we had the problem. When they were called to discuss the problem the person answering the phone was very rude on every call and finally just quit answering our calls. Would just like everyone to be aware that if you use this service and they damage your property THEY WILL NOT take care of the damages.
