We are in the process of selling our home. Inspection required us to have the roof inspected to ensure no leak issues and to install a missing vent cap. J Gill Roofing had done some work for us previously so I reached out to have this done. Since it was part of an inspection response, the timeline was short. Justin came to the house right away and completed the work promptly and professionally. I will never use another roofer in Cincinnati. Justin is always prompt, professional, thorough, trustworthy and competitive.

Justin went above and beyond to make this a great experience. From the initial call, to the gutter guards being installed, Justin was very professional, detailed, and thorough. Justin talked me through exactly what he was going to do at the start and then while he was installing the gutter guards he talked me through what he was seeing on the roof and with the gutters. Justin also said that if any issues came up in the future with the downspouts being clogged, to give him a call and he would fix the problem for free. I highly recommend J. We had some hail damage from the storms last year. Called another highly rated roofing company on Angie's List first and met with their representative. Right off the bat, we didn't care for the way he talked to us and his overall tone towards us. We quickly determined there was no Advantage to having that company do the roof repair. Found Mr. J. Gill's roofing company on Angie's List. When we called him, he answered the phone himself and was quick to come out to our house for an inspection. Within days we had an estimate, which was very reasonable. More conversations by phone and email were had, work began quickly, and everything was done within 1-2 weeks of finalizing paperwork (roof, gutters). The quality of work, quality of materials and (also very important) the quality of communication was all A+ excellent. We highly recommend Mr. Justin Gill for roof and gutter repair. Trimming involved going over property line. They were very accommodating and made at least 1 extra trip to go over plan with the neighbors. The first time trimmers came by wasnt completed as originally discussed. When I called they immediately came over and completed the project as originally discussed.

We had a very good experience. We thought we had a leak in our garage roof and he came out and looked and there was no leakage. He was very honest, very polite and courteous. He just checked the roof and said it was in tip top condition and there was no leak. It ended up being something else that he didn't have anything to do with. He didn't charge me anything. He didn't end up doing any work.

Very excellent! The chimney, the chimney cover and the screening look great. They look like it should be there, not just some screen and sheet metal that cover the chimney. The entire process went great. Mr. J Gill was doing some work on the house next door. My wife and I were impressed with what he was doing and how he did it. We asked him about putting a cover and screening on our chimney. He took some measurements and emailed us an estimate a couple of days later. We agreed, paid a deposit, mostly to cover the cost of the cover, and agreed to have it installed as soon as it had been manufactured and received by Mr. Gill. Everything went as planned and scheduled. A few days after we agreed to the chimney work we had one of those severe storms, it damaged the rooftop ridge vent and allowed some rain to leak into the second floor roof space. We called Mr. Gill and he made it a priority during the 4th of July Holiday to come to Cincinnati and he fixed the problem perfectly. He has also worked on the chimney and installed the cover and screen since then. We have had zero trouble with the roof vent leak and are extremely pleased with the chimney cover work. Mr. Gill is friendly, courteous, timely and respectful of our time and property. We would highly recommend Mr. Gill to any family member, any friend or neighbor, anyone that might need his services. His work and the materials he uses are very reasonably priced.

They are very particular about how they do the work. They were on time, cleaned up after their work was finished and Justin, who is the owner, was here a couple times a day to make sure everything was going correctly. He is very easy to work with and explains everything thoroughly.

The guys were good, fast and neat. Picked up after themselves, there were a few nails but other than that the roof looks great. Justin the owner was very professional, very knowledgeable.
