Utz Plumbing

My mother, Dana, had a large company come to her house a few days ago to fix a clogged kitchen sink upstairs of which needed to be repaired from a pipe down in the basement. This large company cut holes in the basement walls and left it a mess and never did resolve her problem and left her with unfinished services as well as an unusable kitchen sink and said they would be back to run a camera in a few days. She also paid them for their time there before they left the house. My husband and I notified Elmer Utz of Utz Plumbing of her problems and he and his crew went to her house the very next morning and fixed everything and had her up and running again! We were so grateful for Elmer and his crew. My mother is very particular and said he is the only company she will ever call again if a need arises. Thank you Elmer!!! Lori & Tim Hitzfield and Dana. Utz Plumbing was recommended to us by a licensed plumber, but that particular plumber did not do residential repairs. The repair we needed done was in our home. We contacted Utz Plumbing by telephone. We spoke to the owner, Mr. Elmer Utz. We had never met or spoken with Mr. Utz before that day. We explained to Mr. Utz our problem. He said he could certainly do the repair, and as chance would have it, he had a plumbing repair to do the following day not far from our home. Mr. Utz cited us an estimate of cost based upon our description of the problem. That price was $120.00...$20.00 for parts and $100.00 for labor. He said he would call us after he was done with that first repair job was done and then come to our home. The following day Mr. Utz did call us, and then he came to our home. He checked the problem, had the parts necessary to do the repair, and completed the repair. He also replaced some parts in the faucet & plumbing that were not the source of our leak problem, but could certainly be a problem in the not so distant future. At the completion of the all the repairs Mr. Utz billed us the original $120.00 he cited on the telephone, even though he had actually done more than the $120.00 was supposed to pay for. Today is 7-15-13. The leaks are gone...the faucet and plumbing are dry. The repairs solved our problem. The work done by Mr. Utz was excellent & professional. We appreciate his expertise and will certainly contact him again should we have any other plumbing issues.
