Great job. Very pleased. The also repaired a situation left by the firm that was supposed to have rewired my house in 2005.

They did a great job and were on time. They went over and above to ensure the connections to my external lights and timer were protected from the rain to prevent future problems. Lastly, they did all the work in the midst of sleet and rain with frigid temperatures. I'm very pleased with their work.

We call for repair and they are out there the same day, have come out and worked on something in the middle of the night under our house and stay until the work is done. Extremely professional

Tried to fix 2 outlets not working, they quit working again a day later. Disconnected 6 wall heaters. Came back and replaced a 20 amp breaker and installed a GFCI plug to fix the 2 outlets. Gave us an estimate for more electrical work. They were very professional and did not charge labor for the second trip to fix the outlets. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great, just did not make the first time scheduled. Arrived about 4 hours from appointment time, but did call to tell me they would be running late...

I gathered 3 estimates, JB electric provided a very competitive price. The manager of the job who came to do the estimate was thorough in finding out what I needed for my workshop space and in explaining my options. They were prompt in starting and completing the job. I did have to call after they finished about the misplacement of a wire. The manager of the job responded quickly. He apologized and fixed the problem and also apologized for his workers not cleaning up well after themselves. Obviously, I would have preferred the mistakes were not made, but we all make them. More important is how a business handles the mistake. Taking responsibility and making it right goes a long way. I would use them again.

We selected JB Electric from Angie's List, and requested installation of one electrical outlet in the middle of our living room floor. We were given a date and time that was reasonable, and they met that date and time. When they (Derek and Brandon) arrived, we asked them to install two outlets instead of one. We also asked that they look at a light switch which was not working properly. They indicated they could do the additional work with no problem. Derek and Brandon were polite, professional, and pleasant. They were meticulous in their work and it was excellent. They positioned the outlets so that they lined up perfectly with the grain of the hardwood. The holes they cut were precise, and the finished installation is great. They cleaned up their work space when finished. This was the ultimate good repair experience. Well done!

Our AC Unit went out in the evening. After some troubleshooting, we discovered the capacitor had bulged. We got a replacement capacitor, but the Unit still would not work. We spent a few more hours doing more troubleshooting. Our best guess was the breaker switch for the unit was not working properly. It was pretty late, so we went to bed. The next day we called a few places. JB Electric was able to come onsite that day. I met the servicemen at our house. They did some troubleshooting and determined the switch itself had burnt out. Our switch did not have a universal-compatible replacement, so they had to go get one. Once they were back, they replaced the switch, and everything has worked beautifully since. The switch itself was about $10. The "travel" charge was $29, which is pretty standard, and labor was $83/hour, with one hour minimum, also a pretty standard and competitive price. Overall, we are very happy with our experience with JB Electric.
