Description of Work: We had a new front porch light replaced, a new dining room light fixture replaced, and had two outdoor security lights trouble shooted because the would not come on.

Description of Work: I had my fuse box replaced with a circuit panel along with upgrading my service from 100 amp to 200 amp. They also buried the cable from the street to my house so it is no longer in the limbs of my trees.

Description of Work: Scott Bledsoe with Buck Electric returned my call and diagnosed my problem over the phone. Our garage plugs were dead. He suggested pushing the gfi reset button on the plug. That worked. My freezer started and the garage door was automatic once again.

Description of Work: Two electricians installed 8 ceiling fans with light kits, Three were complete install as they had to go into attic and make connections. The others were remove and replace and add the appropriate switches. These two electricians were very professional and fast. They assembled the fans and light kits and cleaned up after themselves and the job was completed in 7 hours. Wonderful service, and very reasonable price. I will use Buck Electric for all my electrical needs. Thank You Buck Electric.

Description of Work: Repair damage to electrical wiring/switches of an outbuilding.

Description of Work: I have a detached garage--a big one--that had lost electricity. I called two electric experts (companies) to assess the situation and give estimates. Buck Electric did the work for $400 less than the other company, and I'm happy with their work. The garage was electrified by an underground aluminum wire, but it was direct burial with no conduit to protect it. The wire stretched underground from my house to the garage. First I called Buck Electric. Scott Bledsoe, a very professional operations manager, came out the SAME DAY I called. He said they were very busy, but he squeezed me in anyway. He gave me an estimate for digging a trench, laying conduit, and putting in the new 100 amp wire. Another company gave me an estimate for the same work for $400 more. The work was done in one day. Scott was on hand to work and supervise. The trench digger did his work and ended up breaking through my water line, and Scott immediately cut the water to the house, drove to get a replacement pipe, repaired the damage, and explained clearly what had happened. This problem was at no extra charge. After the work was done, Scott gave me a tour of the work: he showed me the panel where the new wires came in, showed me the attachments at the house, and also the outlet he installed in the garage to enable me to use a clothes dryer. In short, my primary experience with Buck Electric is with Scott Bledsoe, and he's on the ball: courteous, prompt, and efficient. And the price was better than the other place. Perhaps I could have gotten the job done cheaper, but I had only two estimates. As is, I feel good about the price paid for the work. I think I'll have electricity to my garage for the next 50 years with no trouble. And if I do have trouble, I think Scott will jump on it.
