Description of Work: RUN from this company!!! Very unprofessional, we agreed to pay them upfront to order us a new cabinet, around $1200. We gave Dave Backs our credit card information and he took it upon himself to charge the entire ESTIMATE of around $5900 to our credit card. Estimate being emphasized because this man never came out to our home, never measured anything, in fact, quit communicating with us after he took our money. It was his gas line installation guy who was honest enough to tell us that the products he did order was all wrong and would not work in our home. That was when, after waiting 2 months for the product to arrive that we asked for our money back so we could go somewhere else. On July 4, 6 months after charging our credit card, he issued the last of two refunds, still keeping $1000 of our money, for nothing, not even a handshake...claiming restocking fees and shipping charges for a product he ordered wrong. We have now contacted a lawyer and are having to turn to the law and are hoping to get him for criminal charges for taking money he was never authorized to take in the first place. This guys is dishonest, please don't do business here.

There are so many falsehoods in this review, it's hard to know where to start. The product [member name removed] ordered was "special order" and our company policy, consequently - which is posted all over the store - is "all sales are final" just so we can avoid this kind of situation. Additionally, since this product is "special order," we had to pay for it in advance and ALWAYS require the customer to do likewise. The customer was advised of this IN ADVANCE so the "without permission" is totally incorrect. We did receive in a corner mantel instead of a flush mantel - which is what we'd ordered and could easily be remedied - but the two month delay was because [member name removed] is constantly traveling and we had to constantly reschedule the installation. The "restocking" and "freight charges" are because our vendor - since this is "special order" product, charges us for same and we, in turn, have to bill the customer back. This, too, was explained to the customer before they canceled the product. I have submitted [member name removed]'s note to us to the vendor. If they are willing to forego the restocking and freight charges, we will refund same to the customer. I have advised the customer of same.

After trying to get local companies to sell and install gas logs and getting no call-backs for several weeks, found All Seasons in Bowling Green on the internet, about an hour's drive. Emailed some questions on price, then drove up and looked at, then purchased the logs. Very helpful sales person showed actual log sets working in the store. Said the installation would not take long. Got a call that afternoon from the installer who came and installed them the next day. Very happy with the entire experience, especially after local companies just ignored my requests for information.
