Charged 7000$. Had to come back 7 times in a year. Third time said the problem was duct work. Added a crossover duct and charged us. Fourth time said it was duct work, fixed condensation running out in the floor and changed the fan motor. Charged us again. On the 6th attempt said it was duct work and gave us a 1200$ bid. 7th time Air wouldn't come on in the spring. Fixed the problem and said it wasn't cooling right and said it was duct work. Gave us a 2000$ bid. Was supposed to come back Monday and repair the duct work. Still hasn't come back.

They did an excellent job. I was pleased with the work and they were friendly and very prompt at getting everything done in a timely manor.

My air conditioner was not cooling. My house got up to 80 degrees inside. He came in told me what was wrong. Fixed the problem. I was very pleased with the timely, professionalism of his work.

Technician came on time and did the work quickly. There were no problems with the system. He answered my questions clearly.

It went great! He called to see if he couldnt come earlier and did. He went right to work to fix my system so we didnt have a hot box to live in. He didnt try to tell me other things were wrong with system to make bill higher or push to purchase a new unit.

Modern air repaired my duct work, and installed new unit when promised. Work was very professional and we are saving a lot on energy cost.

Steve was very knowledgable and was able to help us resolve several issues on a home we just purchased. Price was fair and the quality of his work was great. He gave us all the information, but didn't push us to purchase anything. The work he performed was excellent and completed in a timely manner. We are very happy with the services we received and will call him again when we need additional services in the future!

My home was built in 2010. January 2013 I called Steve because ice cold air was coming through the vents found that the ducts were originally not properly installed and that they were, in fact, commercial grade, not residential grade. He and his daughter replaced all the duct work in the attic in great time and left no mess behind. That particular job cost me about $1700. In December 2013 he noticed the freon level was low (he said it should never lose freon) and said he would check it again during regular summer maintenance. He searched for the leak in July 2014 during regular maintenance and found the leak in the inside unit (coils) and we had them replaced Aug. 2014 by Steve and Curtis. The part was still under warranty, until Sept 2014, so the total job cost $450.00. His work is exceptional, he is kind and they all answered all my questions!

It was a difficult job and took longer than anticipated, but the price did not go above the estimate, and he did all the work.

He was willing to come out on a call on New Years day and replaced the fan motor within an hour. He also discussed options on replacing the 17 year old unit. In follow-up did send out material for future reference.

Steve called me right away to set up the appointment and was very professional.

I called Steve and he answered my call on the first call. He came that same day and gave us an estimate and we agreed to have him do the job. Steve showed up as promised he worked very hard and is very professional ! He got our new unit in and our AC back within days ! Steve is a very nice man and a very professional business man! We would recommend him to anyone that needs a new unit or needs work done on a existing unit! We look forward to seeing him yearly to have our system checked to make sure it is ready for the season!

I called, requesting service on a Thursday morning about 9AM. Provider was at my house by 11AM and he thoroughly checked all possible causes for my inactive HVAC. He provided information at each step of the way as to what he was doing and why, which I appreciate. He eventually troubleshot that the relay was broken in the attic, and informed me that he would have to source that part. At this point I shared my desire for a programmable thermostat, and he provided some options he could install when he returned. The next morning at 8AM, he arrived promptly with everything needed to finish the job. He made a special effort to show me how the new thermostat was programmed, and said for me to give him a call if I had more question on it after I indicated that I had to take a phone call for work before he was finished. All in all I feel that it was a good price for a good service, especially since it happened so quickly in such miserable heat. I will certainly contact this provider again with future HVAC needs.

Young man was very nice and told me what size filter he replaced, what kind and that it would not need changing for 2-3 months. He was very polite and gave me an invoice that also provided the information.

We first called Steve out b/c our unit wasn't making cold air for the summer. By that evening he'd returned with the proper part and we had cold air. This time we called b/c it was COLD. 20* outside, and the house was only 58* and the unit was running non-stop, pushing out icy air. Steve and his daughter Sabrina came out and found that the unit (both inside and out) were were working fine. Steve climbed under the house to find that all the return ductwork had been sealed improperly (this house is only 3 years old) so he applied mastic to all the seams. The air coming from the vents was STILL icy, so he went into the attic and found that EVERY duct was either just laying on the floor of the attic, or not sealed AT ALL. He returned 2 days later with his daughter and they replace all the ductwork in the attic, then 2 days later to ensure all the ducts/vents were sealed PROPERLY with tape and staples. I am happy to "report" that inside my house it is a toasty 71*.
