We had previously called Tudor two times to get estimates but shied away because of the price. Our mistake! We have a three story home that had the original slate roof from the 1920s. The slate hadn't worn out, but the nails that held it in place were rusting/disintegrating allowing the shingles to slide off. We hired another "company" to put on a metal roof. (We didn't realize at the time they were related to Laurel & Hardy without the intellect.) Everything that could've been done incorrectly, was. We called Tudor to clean up the mess and they were wonderful! Took off the metal roof. Took off the slate, even saving two large boxes for our neighbor who has been able to salvage his original roof. They put on architectural shingles and a new length of gutter. It's beautiful! They arrived on time. They came on days when rain was predicted and stayed until the inclement weather descended. They were polite, helpful, and cleaned up their mess. Tudor IS expensive, but they are worth the extra cost.
