A very good experience.

Overall positive experience

He took less than a day to fix my PC and it has worked great since. The only thing I see that needs improvement is access to his office, as you have to go through his house to get to it.

I brought my computer to the repair shop in the morning and explained that it would not turn on. The computer professional explained the various reasons a computer might not turn on and said he would determine what was wrong. I left the computer and the professional called me later in the day and said that none of the simple solutions worked and that the computer required a new motherboard. He explained that - being he computer was old - it was not worth repairing. He said he could get my files and data off the computer and put the information on discs. I agreed to this and arranged to pick up the computer the next day, which I did. 'The professional was polite, friendly, and helpful at all times. I would use this service again if I had a computer problem.

Over all he did an excellent job. I am very happy with his work and would go to him again.

After a warranty argument with Acer laptops I was left with a notebook that was stuck in a reboot loop. I must stress that as I am from England now residing with my US born wife in USA. While in UK I knew exactly who I could trust and who to go to for repairs on everyday items. Moving from UK left me in a new environment with an empty list of who to trust. I heard of Angie's list on the cable network and found myself good reviews of a local based PC repair firm called Ashland PC. I duly booked an appointment and took my device down to the firm for repair. I have always said the sign of a good workman is someone surrounded by his gear and thats exactly what I saw. I was even invited to watch him diagnose and repair my unit. This I did up to a certain point then I had to leave for a prior engagement. I returned later that evening to a fully reformatted and repaired notebook which I must add was performing faster than when it was purchased. Finding the virus that caused this problem wasn't easy in fact he told me considering that I had only really used this notebook a few times in the one month aftwer purchase there was little to save that the easiest function was to reformat and do a clean install. . He diligently went about his work with little fuss. This was my experience. I cannot recommend this firm enough to anyone who is hesitant over who to trust for PC repair. At home now doing this review for his firm I find my little notebook running at top notch faster than the laptop I am using to do this review.

I took my PC in because it was running like crap. He quoted $65.00 for a reload and cleaned it all up..It only took him 1 day to fix it. it runs better now than it ever did..

His prices were much better than anyone else I have ever seen. He and his wife were very friendly people and he did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him.
