Nothing but a great experience with Rod

Rod was great. He gave us suggestions on some repairs we were unsure of. He suggested replacing the single pull light in the basement over the washer which was broken with a fluorescent and added a switch since it wasn't connected to the main light switch. He knew what he was doing, had the tools needed and he cleaned up after himself. The valve on the dishwasher had just cracked before he came and we added that to the list. He said he'd be able to replace it. That saved us another service call from an appliance repair company. I would definitely call Rod again. In fact, I'm already thinking of other projects he can help with!

Rod brought different sized supports with him and then determined which worked best. His wife came with him to hand up tools while he was in the attic area. The work was completed efficiently and competently. Since I wasn't able to get into the attic he took pictures of his work to show me what was done.

Rod came prepared for job with wood already primed. He was thorough, professional and competent.

I loved them. He was honest, did a great job, and was easy to work with.

I think it went great overall. He did a very good, quality job. He was always on time. I thought the price he charged me was very reasonable. His wife came to collect the money and she was really nice. I didn't have any complaints. He works quick and efficiently. He gave me a ten percent Angie's List discount.

I called Mr. Barnes and explained our need. He drove to the house, examined the job and called me back with a quote. I agreed and he returned to the house that evening and completed the job. Excellent work.

We will not use anyone else for work in our home. Mr. Barnes rescued us from a dangerously botched and stalled remodel. We had worked with another contractor for months with nothing complete and our house torn apart. Mr. Barnes came in and promptly finished a significant amount of plumbing including new drains for our kitchen and new upstairs laundry. He set all our cabinetry, which had been sitting for weeks, and was a difficult job with many outer walls of the old home out of square. He completed much custom woodwork around appliances, etc. beautifully. When we ran into very serious electrical issues he recommended an electrician of equal quality. Mr. Barnes called each day to let us know his arrival time. He did not leave a job until it was completed. He is a great problem solver and left our home each day cleaner than he found it. His estimates were always right on, never any surprises and his fees very reasonable. His experience with older homes saved us and his professional demeanor was very refreshing.

I highly recommend him to anybody. He quoted $125, but only charged $100 after asking if I was an Angie's List member. Perhaps the discount was because I am a senior citizen. I will definitely call him for other things in his area of expertise.

Rodney removed all the old carpet and padding from my condo and removed it to the dumpsters (in sections small enough to fit inside the dumpster). He also removed all the staples and swept up. He got the work done quickly and he did a good job. He is very pleasant to work with. In fact, after the work he did on this job I hired him to do a couple of other things for me. Wish I had found him sooner.

He does a good job at whatever he does, and he can do everything. He gets the work done in a very good time. He did a beautiful job tearing out my cabinets and replacing them.
