They called back as soon as I left a message and came out to do the repair the next day, they showed up on time and I would use them again.

I called on a Monday afternoon and Ryan showed up at 8:30 am the next day. He got right to work and after He would fix one thing He would ask what else needs fixing and would fix the next item. It took Him 45 minutes to complete all (3) repairs and everything is now working fine. He also cleaned the glass in all the fixtures and cleaned up after each job. He was very Professional and courteous and gave me a 10% discount for being an Angie List member. .

Company scheduled work right away. Rewired a light and changed a fixture and outlet. Very pleased with the service.

I originally called to have the 240 Volt, 50 Amp circuit installed for a new Tesla Electric car. I really was concerned about the job being done to Tesla's specifications so I would get the fastest, most efficient charging performance. I also knew that the ancient cabinet, with a combination of old breakers and fuses, needed replacing so decided to go with the whole job at once. It's now been about 3 months since Keith and his assistant finished the job and I can happily report that everything worked as it should from the day they left and continues to do so today. I'm getting a constant 40 Amp, as per Tesla's specification from the NEMA. There have been zero problems. The job took the better part of 2 days. They showed up on time, left the place clean and were pleasant guys to just hang around with. I also feel that the price was very reasonable, considering the skill level at which both of them performed. What else can I say except that I'd surely call them again next time I need some work done!

It went very well and very efficient. He arrived and finished on time. He did a professional job. It took about five or so hours. He was friendly. I was very impressed with him. He cleaned up after himself.

Went great. Showed up on time. They quoted me a price and stood by it. They also double wired to the the light switches even though I only paid for a single wire. I will use them again for any electrical issues.

It was my first time using the company and everything went okay. The pricing was fair. I was happy they were able to fix the lighting when another company could not. Two technicians came out for the service. My only complaint is regarding their lack of communication. They did not do a good job of explaining how some of the sockets would be in stalled. In the end I was not happy with the way they installed some of the sockets. When I questioned about the way they installed the sockets were installed they did not respond in the most professional manner. They are also slow to respond to you.

From the estimate to the completion of the work, they were prompt, attentive, patient with my questions and did quality work. Will definitely use them again.

Yet again, another outstanding job by Keith. We've had him to our home five or six times for different electrical projects, and we've never been disappointed. We HIGHLY recommend him.

Keith arrived right on time. He has estimated the job at $350, but came in at under $300. That included driving to a store a few miles away to pick up a newer type of ceiling light for the laundry room. He explained everything and gave us a choice to stay with the older light. He was quick and very professional. We would certainly call him again if we need more electrical work.

The representative with Hayes Electric, John, showed up on time and brought everything he would need to work with to the job. John was most knowledgeable about how to proceed with the work and also very friendly. I was with him as he did the work and noticed that he did not cut corners on quality of the work or on safety. I am very pleased with the results.

We have a nice, but older house and we had just rented it out to young couple. There was a main plug on bedroom wall that did not work and neither did light in large closet right behind that same wall. It was very inportant to have this plug work because it was the only plug on that wall and this couple had dresser and television on dresser on this wall, they could not use.. I called Mr. Hayes over weekend and he seemed very nice and said he would call me and come out the next week and made apptment. Instead of Mr. Hayes showing up, he sent another young guy who spent about 45 minutes there and could not find out the problem. It was obvious to us that after he made two or three trips from 2nd floor bedroom to basement and found out there was no crawl space in the ceiling, he was not interested in job, and said it would be expensive. He said to my husband and myself, who are in our seventies, that he thought , we should just go out and get a heavy extension cord and attach it to back of television on dresser and run it to plug on another wall which was about 10 feet away. He did not offer to do it, however he did charge us $150.00. He stated he would talk to Mr. Hayes about problem and have him call us with a price in a few days if we wanted to do it correctly, but personally, he would just run an extension cordbepcause it might be really expensive to fix . No one ever called us back. My husband went to a hardware store, got a heavy-duty plug, and drilled a hole in the bottom of a built-in windowseat storage box that was on nearest wall, ran the extnsion cord through the hole and all along wall and drilled second hole to pull out extension cord and plugged it into plug that was nearest windoseat. It worked, however, it took away from other plug and wasn't the correct way to fix problem. Since we have had no complaints from Tenant, however, I guess this was an ok fix, but I guess I was disappointed that the guy didn't do this himself, since it was difficult for my husband to get down on floor, and that no one ever called us back, we did the work ourselves and were still charged $150.00. Right now we have an electrical problem in another house, but with this bad experience, we, personally, would not call this company back. .

Mr Hayes was prompt, friendly and very effecient. All work was completed in about 90 minutes. All repairs are working well.

As new home owners, with no previous experience using contractors for electrical work, we decided to talk to a number of contractors, get competing quotes and then select a contractor who balanced out reputation (extremely important) with price (somewhat). Cost was really not an object for us especially since we do not know much about electrical work and we'd rather have it done right than have it done cheaply. Keith Hayes was one of the first contractors I spoke to, after reading Angie's List reviews. I gave him a call, and within 2 hours he came to the house to provide an estimate. He did a thorough job of inspecting everything, asked a lot of questions (most of which I couldn't answer) and completed his assessment. By evening, he had already provided a quote. We spoke to a few other contractors, but none of the others were as impressive, with one of them just providing a quote over phone. We did find one contractor who said he would do the work cheaper than Hayes Electric, but we couldn't find any reviews on his work and so decided to stick with Hayes. Keith provided us with a schedule and stuck to it. He and his team did a very neat job of installing recessed lighting. There were hardly any visible marks on the ceiling. (Side note: My painter said that he had to sand away before painting but I am not sure that was entirely the electrician's responsibility...) Keith also promptly finished the panel installation, and even though the work was more involved than initially anticipated, Keith stuck to the quoted price. We are still waiting on inspection and I will update my review post that. Overall, extremely satisfied with the services provided. If you are looking for a team that can perform under no supervision, these are the guys!

We had them change out our electrical sockets and they did a good job. I think the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of their work. Everything has held up fine since then. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions.

We have used them twice. Overall the job was perfect. He is on time, very honest, and does great work. I will recommend him. The price was not cheaper, but medium.

I was having problems with the main breaker blowing in the breaker box. Keith came out the same day I called. He was able to fit me in between appointments. Keith checked out the breaker box & said that the main breaker needed to be replaced. He checked out all the lines & said that everything else looked to be in good order. He ran out, picked up the new main breaker and installed it. Everything only took about an hour if that long. Keith was friendly, asked questions about when the old breaker would blow, explained what he was doing & did great with my dogs. (He beat me to my house so I did not get the chance to put them out before entering the house.)

Keith was great to deal with, on time, gave a free estimate. Price seemed plenty fair and he did a good job. I would definitely recommend/use again.

Keith was prompt in coming over to give an estimate. In fact, showed up a d ay early. He was prompt and professional. Scheduling was easy, even when things had to be coordinated with Owen Electric. Great pricing and service. I am real picky and Keith more than met my expectations.

Hayes has completed several projects with my home. They are always courteous, professional, punctual and friendly.

After using Hayes through a Big Deal, we called Keith for additional work. He was prompt and thorough and solved our problem.

I called to see if they could install my bathroom exhaust fan for me that I had bought at Home Depot. I called on Monday and they came the very next day. I do work from home so I have quite a bit of flexibility with scheduling and was really happy they came out so quick. It took him about an hour to install the exhaust fan I purchased and he cleaned up any mess he made from making the ceiling hole bigger to fit the piece. I am glad I made the call to have them come out. I really appreciate it and would call them again for other electrical work if needed.
