I took advantage of a two hour electric service for $100. I called Keith right after I purchased the deal on Angie's List and he explained exactly what I needed to buy in order to be ready. I was changing my outside lighting to new fixtures. When I bought the new fixtures I called and we set up an appointment within two weeks. Today he arrived just a little late but called first to let me know. He installed the two light fixtures and also an inside timer. He even programmed the timer for me. Then because I had time left, he changed a ballast in my kitchen (for under the counter lighting). Again I had everything he needed here. He was extremely professional and happy to take on any job I had for him. We discussed his normal pricing and he is competitive. There is an additional fee for the first hour so you would do well with him on longer jobs, but even for one hour he is fair. He has good knowledge of all things electrical. And he is a nice, polite person. I will definitely call him again and will tell friends as well.

They have been awesome so far. They are supposed to send us an email with parts that we are supposed to go get, but we haven't gotten it yet. I'm sure we will soon. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

After the appliance repair guy told us the problem was not with the dishwasher,but the lack of power going to it, we called Keith Hayes who arrived prompty at our door at 9AM the following morning.Our home was built in the early sixties when it was common to use aluminum to wire houses in order to save copper for the war effort )Viet Nam). As a result of aluminum not having ideal proporties to disperse the heat electricity builds up, our wireing causes problems every now and then. After Keith did such an effecient job correcting the dishwasher problem, I asked him if he had time to take care of the other wiring problems we had. He did, he fixed everything, and we are real happy with all he did and we will use him whenever our home demands it.

A single circuit breakers tripped during a severe thunderstorm on Saturday, however would not remain untripped - it would break again after merely turning on a light switch (after everything else was unplugged). The circuit happened to be our home office from which my wife works out of full-time - thus I had to get it fixed before Monday morning. I troubleshot for about an hour & in exacerbation started looking up electricians on Angie's List. I was a bit concerned I would not find an electrician on the weekend, but Hayes Electric listed Saturdays & had excellent ratings from prior customers. In less than an hour, Keith was at my house. It did take a while to find the root-cause (3.5 hours end-to-end), but in his defense it seemed to be a difficult to find issue. A metal piece off of the main box had was just tight enough to cause a short. Keith believed it was triggered by lightning, which frankly I was a bit doubtful (why wasn't the rest of my house impacted), but he said he'd seen it before & we've had no issues in the 2 weeks since (which by the way has included multiple big thunderstorms). I'm now considering using Hayes to install an "uber" circuit breaker (I forget the technical term) on my entire house - something he strongly recommended to avoid this in the future. I'm also considering him for a custom electrical job in my unfinished basement (new outlets & a new lighting socket run).

This company was prompt and polite. He purchased the correct switches as needed and performed the work in a timely manner. We were provided with explanations and choices for the switches. In addition, he provided us with some suggestions for outdoor lighting.

Keith did a fine job for an excellent price. We would use his services again.

He got it to work. He came out very promptly when he said that he would. He didn't waste anytime finding the problem and was quick to fix it.

All went well; the new stove required different wiring than the old one.

He came within an hour or two after the service call. Keith was very polite and professional. The job was finished in about a half-hour. I was very pleased with the work, and plan to have him come back for a small job in my basement.
