Great. He was punctual and polite, and took the time to answer some of my other electrical questions.

I had spoken with Keith several months prior because I had questions about a Big Deal that he was offering. I had been impressed with his honesty at the time, because he told me that it didn't really sound like I needed that Big Deal. I called Keith again and told him what was going on. He got me on his schedule right away and came out to take a look and provide me with an estimate. Keith was very professional and friendly and emailed me an estimate the next day. It seemed like the estimate was a very fair price, but since I'm not very knowledgeable about electrical work and this was a considerable amount of money for me, I decided to get a second estimate. Keith's bid was significantly lower than the second bid and I also liked the fact that Keith is a small business owner and I would prefer to support small businesses over large chains. I scheduled a day for the work and Keith said it was no problem if I couldn't be there. After he sent the original estimate, I remembered a problem I was having with one of my ceiling fans (it had a light and a fan, but only one pull switch). I asked Keith how much he would charge to install a second pull if I left a few different packages I had purchased (not knowing which one was right). He said, "Oh, that's no problem. We'll take care of it" (no charge). By the time I came home from work, Keith was already gone and all the work was done and the areas were cleaned up. I called Keith to make sure that everything had gone well (and that my dog had behaved himself!) and he confirmed that it all went off without a hitch. I appreciated the time he took explaining some things to me and I also enjoyed his stories of my dog's antics during the day! Keith was great and I will definitely use him again in the future!

I called Hayes Electric Services on Thursday afternoon about removing two old smoke detectors and installing new ones. Keith Hayes did the work the following morning. He willingly answered all my questions. (I chose to provide the smoke detectors.) This is the first time I've used Angie's List, and am so grateful to previous reviewers and to Keith Hayes for prompt, efficient, and pleasant service.

I gave him the projects one at a time, and he took care of them perfectly. Work area was clean and he liked my dog.

Keith was quick to respond to my inquiry for a quote, and he was professional and thorough--exactly like the other reviews on Angie's list. I will hire him again in the future, and I recommend him to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, professional electrician.

I have been wanting a light outside my back door for years. I had consulted at least 2 electricians who basically told me it couldn't be done. The technician from Hayes Electric found a way. It looks and works great. He did it with some creative reasoning and sound electrical work. I am very pleased. He did it in under 2 hours. I was disheartened to find the mess he left; but it seems a small price to pay to have that light.

Tech arrived on time. We did a walk-thru. Installed two new outlets, and we were done.

He arrived on time, but had to go get a replacement box, and returned promptly. He did not charge for the time spent getting the box. He worked quickly and with a minimum of mess. He was very pleasant, considerate, and I was very pleased with his workmanship.

Keith was great to work with and I would highly recommend him as he is both friendly and professional. They work efficiently and do a great job. I will be using them in the future for other projects around the house.

He came as promised and performed the work as needed. I asked that a box be added to allow for coaxial cable but he did not do this with my approval (altho hesitant).

It went really well. He's very knowledgeable and knew what needed to be done. What we wanted to do and what he thought was best were two different things. We've since had him back to work on more outlets in our house. We thought it was going to be an expensive fix, but when he came back he was able to find the problem quickly without an additional charge.

I have not yet scheduled this work, but was left with a favorable impression of him and his level of knowledge when he came to give the estimate. The bid was in my email the next morning, just as he promised.

It went well despite not getting the primary job completed and he stayed a little over to replace the Fan for extra money which seemed reasonable. He did seem to be busy and received a number of calls during the visit.

We hired Hayes Electric to do all of the electrical work in the renovation of a large fifties ranch. We hired Hayes after getting quotes from four or five of the better known electrical contractors in the area. Not only did Keith give us the best quote, but we felt comfortable with him right from the start. He listened to what we wanted, provided input as appropriate, and worked well with our other contractors. My wife, who has taken primary responsibility for our last three renovations, found him responsive and easy to work with as well. His communications are prompt, and the firm's work is top notch. I'll use them for all of our electrical work going forward.

I purchased a two-hour for $99.00 special for Mr. Hayes' services on Angie's List. He arrived promptly and switched out every electrical outlet I asked him to. All are working perfectly. He was very pleasant to work with and cleaned up after himself. The best part is my peace of mind because I know that the electrical work was done correctly. I would definitely recommend him and definitely use his services again.

Notified me of the arrival time...pointed out options and explained 'code' and the procedures that he would be doing.

From getting an appointment to having the repair done, working with Hayes Electric was easy.

Checked Angie's List and decided to call Keith with Hayes Electric. He was exceptional from start to finish. He was prompt, professional, and friendly. I was impressed with how well he cleaned up afterwards. You would of never known he was there. I might add he was quite patient as I changed my mind several times in my decision making. I will call him again for future projects!

I first contacted Hayes Electric b/c the handyman that had been recommended to me by a friend, twice failed to show. I went online, found Hayes Electric, appreciated the reviews and contacted them in the morning. They were extremely responsive, coming onsite that very afternoon to do a walk through and estimate. As a new homeowner, I wasn't familiar with code requirements and Hayes Electric was very transparent in steering me in the right direction with my actual needs v. wants. They provided recommendations on projects and installation options. One week later, they provided a detailed estimate and then worked with me on identifying my crucial projects. I will certainly contact them this Spring to follow up on the remaining projects included in the estimate. On the actual day of service, they arrived on time and proceeded to complete the tasks. Keith worked on the flood lights while the second service man worked on the ceiling fan. The ceiling fan installation needed additional items and he, very willing, drove to Home Depot to purchase the necessary part, without additional charge to me. They cleaned up the work area afterward and were extremely efficient with their time. Both men were extremely courteous, respectful, and helpful. I will certainly contact Keith again when I'm ready to proceed with the remainder of my project list.
