Perfect! We have had some bad experiences with "pros" before so we tend to be wary. Steve did what he said he would do. They worked quickly and efficiently for the price quoted. We are VERY happy with the work and the people who did the work. Will definitely call them again for any repairs/painting jobs we may have.

Steve and his team are quite professional and did a fantastic job on our basement repairs. We highly recommend them for any house repair work you need. We definitely will call them for other household repairs. Try them, you will like them!

Our carport looks great. They built a nice wooden carport with a shingled roof and enclosed with siding painted to match the house.

He does a really great job. I went with him because I had an history with him. He even did it when I went on vacation, and when I came home it was done. No stress at all. He removed the popcorn on the ceiling also. The other quotes was more for the painting, and not the ceiling work. He tends to have a lot of jobs around, and it takes a while to get to the house.

Steve said he would be in the area doing another job. He asked me to text him my address so he could come by and give an estimate. I texted address. He was a no show and never called back. I was disappointed because I’d used him before.

Steve gave me a time window in which they could do the job, and were here within that window of time. Not only were they meticulous in the work done, each day before leaving, they consolidated their equipment and supplies leaving us a very comfortable living space. Steve's advice on paint colors helped me make a choice I absolutely love, and the accent walls he created on both floors of the house brought the look of my home to a whole new level of elegance. His suggestions for additional touches, such as LED lighting added an up-to-date feel. His team was a delight to be around, very considerate and up-beat with sporadic bursts of singing that lent an air of happy to the job. Throughout the job, Steve's mantra was "I just want you to be happy." He more than got his wish. To add the icing to the cake, the cost of the job was very reasonable.

Very efficient in the work they did and cleanup was complete and excellent. Easy to work with and acommodating in every aspect including planning and scheduling. Will use them again when similar needs come up!

Thursday, he had called me and told me that he had dug up the old mailbox and was installing the new one. He did not even discuss the installation of the mailbox with me. We had not set up an appointment for him to do the work and had not discussed a price, but he had started when I was out running errands. I told him that it was very important that it looks perfect at least three times. I let him know that if he didn’t think he could do it, then he could tell me. The mailbox has a base, a post, and an antique design that runs horizontal. The base is supposed to run parallel to the top so it is uniform. He poured the concrete so the short side faced the street and it wasn’t going to be parallel. He wasn’t installing properly. It wasn’t done professionally at all. He was arguing with me about what I wanted what I told him exactly what I wanted. I called him and told him told him that I did not want him on my property to come out and fix the job. I told him I would pay for the supplies that he had already used but I had told him that I already had someone else to do the job. The project will now exceed the price that it should have been because the new contractor has to fix the damage that WichitaFixIt.com had already done.

Steve was very prompt and did excellent work at a fair price. He was very friendly and easy to work with. Being a single woman it can be difficult to deal with contractors. I have had my share of less than pleasant experiences. Steve is a straight shooter and did everything we agreed on. He even painted some trim on a newer door and window that previous contractor couldn't be bothered with after an extensive storm related claim. He just did it to make everything look uniform without charging extra. It's nice to find a person/company with a friendly demeanor and good work ethic.

Following a buyer's inspection prior to selling my house, I was required to replace the tub spout, as not all water was being properly diverted to the shower when it was selected. I tried replacing the part myself, but was unable to remove the part due to the poor initial installation of the spout. I contacted a different service that I had used in the past, but was sadly disappointed when that person left me waiting on 4 different occasions. I called Steve on Friday, and he came out the following Monday to complete the job in only 15 minutes! He is very personable, and offered great advise and hints. I definitely plan to use him in the future!!

Kept me informed about installation date. Always answered my calls. Arrived at 9AM with assistant and worked 'tll 5 PM. Was very consciences and knew what he was doing. Very professional. Work quality was very good. Personality was very warm. Provided all the tools, brushes, etc. Handled a few issues that were encountered with originality and good sense. Installation was completed and painting was very precise. All in all, a very good job!

I tried 4X to call "Steve" and never once got an answer. Instead I got his voice mail every time. Even leaving a message did not good as he never responded. I also sent email to him from his website and still there was no response. How can he get the top rating on Angie's List if he never responds to a request for an estimate? This business is a total waste of my time. In my opinion he shouldn't be in business and at this rate he may already be out of business. If there was a lower rating than F I would give it. Steve, I hope that you read this or at least I hope that Angie's List contacts him to tell him how bad he is.

Terrible. Didn't show up for the 1st appointment. Texted me to say that he got tied up and couldn't make it. Wanted to reschedule for the next day, which I agreed to, but then never called or texted to schedule a time and never showed up. Guess he doesn't need the work.

Steve was great to work with. He provided a solid estimate for the work very quickly. He tightly managed his team and made sure the work was done fast and very high quality. I'm already talking to him about additional work I need done.

He was very professional and knew what he was doing. He went out of his way to make sure that we were satisfied, which we were.

Easy initial contact made. Steve came out and looked the job over and gave me a quote right on the spot. He was very clear on what he intended to do and the type of paint he would use. I called him the next day and told him it was OK and asked when he could start the job.He came out the next day and power washed the bricks then came back the next day and painted. When he was here checking up on if the brick to see if it was dry enought to start painting on the same day he power washed he offered to paint the back steps which are wood and the finish on them had worn off. I said yes and it only cost another $25. He painted the foundation and the steps on the same day. I am verysatisfied with the work I had done. Steve is a very friendly man and does what he says he will do for the job. I will use him again in the future.

Based on the reviews I see here, I was eager to hire WichitaFixIt.com. But in the past two weeks, I've left three voicemail messages. Nobody has called back yet. Maybe everybody is on vacation. At any rate, I'm moving on ... will call somebody else who wants the work.

Very well for the most part. I am a very "picky" consumer. There is one minor detail--brass caps on the deck posts--that I wished were leveled a bit better. For the most part the deck looks great--a huge improvement over where it was!!! I will definitely use their services again!!

They were very professional, showed up on time, continuous communication, price which was fair for the work done and the fact is that they will be coming back with more work this week. They were fairly priced, did good work and were continuously communicating with me.

I have a very large home and I needed to find a contractor capable of repairing several issues. I needed the house (brick) repainted, I had structural issues in the front drive entrance, some foundation cracks around the pool area, and on and on and on........Steve Sims of Wichita Fix-it was an answer to my prayers. Not only was he able to handle all the "serious" issues I had, but he was kind enough to take care of some of the smaller things I hadn't even noticed. He completed all the work at the price he quoted, was always on time, oversaw his workers and I trusted him in my home. I was so happy with Steve and Wichita Fix-it, I have the number on speed dial. I still have a few major repairs I am saving for Wichita Fix-it, but I have asked Steve to come out, on many occasions since, to fix some smaller things on a remodel. He approached those little jobs ( repairing a ceiling stain, repairing a leak on a roof pipe, prepping sheet rock, etc.....) like he did the big dollar jobs. On time smiling, ready to go to work. Even saved me money, by recommending a different way of fixing a problem. He is also a great connection to other contractors that he has worked with and proved that they do good work at a fair price. Highly Recommended !!!! In fact I have !!!!
