+ -1 moreI didn’t have any trouble with them. The customer service and the price were good. It was the standard price for U-Haul, they are pretty standard across the country. I paid a deposit which they refunded after I returned the truck. I would recommend them to friends and family members.
Description of Work: I hired a truck from U-Haul Moving & Storage at West Kellogg. That was just the drop off point, I picked it up at Kansas City.

+ -1 moreThis U-Haul location has lousy customer service as I described in the paragraph above- several months later, I went to this same location to rent a trailer and had more lousy customer service- The service technician hooked up the trailer and directed me inside to pay and instead of taking my money, he went somewhere else in the facility and finally showed up and I had to stand in line again to pay for the trailer- the first time, I had waited in line to have him hook up the trailer, and the second time, to pay for it. Seems like waiting in line once, hooking up my trailer and taking my payment right then could have been done all at once and resulted in better customer service but this place doesn't do "customer service".
Description of Work: This company installed a hitch on my pickup. Asked me to be at the U-Haul store early before lunch and they would install the hitch. Took over 2 hours to install. Technician took the keys to my pickup and then disappeared and I waited and waited in a very cold building. As time went by, I asked to use the bathroom and was told to go through an outer office to get to the restrooms- I went through this office and guess what- there was the technician who had taken the keys to my pickup now eating lunch while I was waiting. It was explained to me later that somebody else was working on my pickup- but I imagine the truck was just sitting there- After 2 1/2 hours or so, my pickup was finally done.
