Description of Work: They couldn't get in my home because my dog was going crazy so they called and just cancelled. They didn't even try to make arrangements for another time when I could have had the dog enclosed (which they had told me I didn't need to do else I would have in the first place, and I did ask). My dog is very sweet but we just had a break in recently so likely he was scared from that and being protective. I'm a busy doctor so really wanted services but they put zero effort into trying to reschedule so I will use someone else who is more dedicated to providing service.

When the team arrived at the house, the dog was loose in the house. He would not let them in the front door. He was growling, baring his teeth and barking. Our field manager went over and was unsuccessful with the dog. Our office manager went over. This is an individual who has worked rescuing dogs in all conditions and demeanors. She was unable to calm the dog or gain entry in the house. We called the client and explained the situation. We asked if she could lock the dog in an inside room, like a laundry room or bedroom or put the dog outside. The client informed us that the dog was too big to put in a room and she was not going to put the dog outside. She also said, two other people had come over to clean and they were also unable to get in the house. The dog is not friendly to strangers and we cannot take the chance that one of our employees will be injured by the dog. We were willing to clean if the dog was put outside or inside a room with a closed door. The client was not willing to work with us on keeping the dog away from our employees. Once the client can insure that our employees are in a safe environment and the dog can not reach our employees, we are willing to clean for her. If the dog is scared, as the client stated, and we are invading the dog's territory and home, it can easily decide to defend it's territory. We must insure that our employee's will not be attacked or bit by this dog before we can clean for her. The client at this point in time is not willing to cooperate in securing the dog. Only with the client's cooperation can we safely enter her house and clean.

I asked for a deep clean for my newly rented home of just under 1500 sq ft. I was told by Vicky that they had the best deep clean service in town. Prior to their visit, I was told that they would clean base boards, vents, cabinets(inside and out), refrigerator, dust, plus all the "normal" cleaning that's to be expected(such as floors, toilets, showers, windows, etc). I was really excited to have this done, and thought it was the perfect time since the house was completely empty. Absolutely none of my furniture was in the house because we are moving from out of state and my belongings haven't arrived yet. I was aware in advance of the steep prices($150 for the first hour, and $140 for each additional hour), but I was fine with it because it was going to be a DEEP clean. Well, when the day came, a team of 6 women showed up( I was told that only 4 women would arrive). I thought, "great! I'm going to get my money's worth and have it done a little faster with the extra help." Because I had no furniture in the house, I had nothing better to do than to watch what these ladies clean. I was very displeased to see that not one of them touched the base boards. No one opened the hall closets. The outside of the kitchen cabinets were wiped down, but the insides were left untouched. I know that they didn't touch the top of the cabinets where all of the dust collects. When I asked to have the cabinets in the bathrooms wiped, they all stood there talking to each other to see who would do the job...at this point there were 9 women were there(3 other women arrived about 45 minutes into the cleaning). Really? I was also told via email that Vicky would stop by during their cleaning to check in and explain to me that their services were affordable for long term use. She never showed up nor did I receive a follow up email or call from her. I'm not that disappointed. They were at my house for just over an hour. I wouldn't call it a deep clean at all. Just a quick wipe down. The total job cost me $208(that's with the $20 coupon I had from Angie's list). Not worth it in my opinion. I will be using some else in the future.

They did a very thorough job. There were some minor things that they could have improved on. Their communication could improve while they are in the house cleaning. I wish they would have made more of a connection to me. Overall, it was good though.
Description of Work: They did a move-out and move-in cleaning for a total of $600. They originally sent 3 people, but they had also supervisors on hand at different points throughout the day. They charged based on the 3 people they sent.

They came out to do the house. I just bought my house and asked the lady to do a complete cleaning of my whole house including closets. They came out to do the vacuuming and to clean cabinets. They did not clean the closets though. I had called them to let them know what was left out. The owner was able to correct this and redid the whole house and closets for me. I was happy with the end results.

Wonderful cleaning team of women, couldn't say enough to describe how wonderful these ladies are. The company itself (locally) amazing staff, quick responses, follow-up and attempt to resolve any dissatisfaction with their clients. Unfortunately their pricing, duration of cleaning service with 6-person team (provided our small duplex's square footage) overrides any future service. Pricing was outrageous, the attempt to rectify was wonderful but still things/areas promised to be cleaned & disinfected were neglected and left us with unsatisfactory results.

I contacted the company to get a bid to clean my entire house since I have a baby due and we finished our basement recently. I made an appointment for Vicky to come visit my home at 5:30 on Tuesday (10/2/12) evening to get a bid on the job. She called at 5 PM to tell me she was not going to be able to make it because she was sick. I told her no problem and she asked to reschedule for the same time Wednesday (10/3/12). My husband was home to meet her at 5:30 on Wednesday. I thought it was odd that I didn't hear from Vicky all day or to tell me she was on her way but, assumed she made it to give us a bid. My husband called at 6 PM to ask if they were coming. I called Vicky's cell phone at 6 PM to see if she was planning to meet as at our home. I had to leave a voice mail. She still has not returned my call to explain if there was an issue or to apologize. Any company that does business in this manner is unprofessional and discourteous. I have no use for this type of customer service especially since they have ample competition that will gladly jump at the chance to do the work. You must be able to trust any company that is going to come in to your home and this is unacceptable. I will take my business elsewhere.

It is true, the I, Vicky, contacted the member Tuesday afternoon to explain that I was feeling very ill and asked to reschedule. Wednesday I was still ill and went to the doctor. He diagnosed me with a respiratory infection, prescribed medication and as much sleep as possible. I slept most of Wednesday afternoon and evening and turned my work cell phone off. First thing at 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning, however, I was back at work and returned the members call immediately. The voice mail answered and I left an explanation, "apologized profusely" and offered to reschedule at her convenience. I have not received a reply from her and the message I left. Our company hours are 8am to 5 pm and we are located in Wichita. It was, and always is, my sincerest intention to go above and beyond in offering customer service and to provide a free estimate after hours and out of town to accomodate the member's request.

Vicki and the crew chief visited our house to determine what needed to be done. We decided to start with a deep clean and then if all went well, move on to regular every other week cleanings. The deep clean was $435 (our house is 3600 sq ft); the regular cleans are $196. Might be a bit high, but I'm satisfied.
Description of Work: The Maids have been to our home 3 times -- one deep clean and 2 regular cleans, every other week. Vicki in the office is great, very responsive and eager to please. After a bit of confusion -- mostly on my part -- of the regular day/time, we're in a routine. My house is clean, there's no doubt, but I wish it smelled clean. I think the cleaning products they use are designed that way to not overwhelm with scents. I get that. Other than having to rearrange all the kitchen stuff after a cleaning, things are good.

They were supposed to arrive at 3:00 - they showed up at 4:00. They were a person short, and I had let them know that I had a budget they couldn't go over, and I told them as well that I wanted them to focus on my main floor and go downstairs if they had time. The first place they went was downstairs.They were there for almost 2 hours, and when they left I realized they didn't do a very good job at all. 1. They didn't spray and wipe down the windows. 2. They didn't dust everything. 3. They didn't get all the "yuck" off the stove. 4. They "vacuumed the air vents" but barely went over them. 5. They didn't wipe down everything in the bathrooms and after they left there was still an "orange ring" around the toilets at the floor. 6. They didn't clean the linoleum. My mom came in with cleaner afterwards and was able to make a HUGE difference in the hard surface flooring with little effort. 7. I had to remind them they needed to stop. I had told them they had an hour and a half, and I had to track the team leader down at an hour and 37 minutes because they weren't paying attention to the time. Even then, she told me they'd have to charge the hour and 45 minutes because they'd already gone past the time. A side note... I had the carpet cleaned professionally before they got there, and they didn't even have to clean a fridge (there wasn't one there yet!) They were also told they didn't need to spend any time on the walls because they were getting ready to be painted. 3 people worked for almost 2 hours on 1300 square feet, NOT including floors and walls - and they couldn't get everything done? I find that hard to believe. I called the office to complain about the job they did, and I got a bunch of excuses. Because they'd not even made it to my master bathroom when they were there, she offered to have them come out and clean the bathroom at no additional cost. Free cleaning? Yeah, okay. My mom's out there painting and let the girl in. She proceeded to spend an hour and a half on the bathroom. My mom said she stopped and was talking on the phone several times, and when she was finally done, an inspection of the bathroom showed mediocre work. The "orange ring" was still on the floor and another inside the toilet, the shower bar hadn't even been wiped down, nor had the towel bar. She cleaned the tub, the mirror, the sink, and the toilet (sort of). THAT took her an hour and a half. I will NEVER use these people again. I could have saved a ton of money and just had someone else do it.
Description of Work: I hired them to come in and do a "move in." We just bought our house and the previous owners didn't really take care of the place. They quoted me $150 for the first hour, and $35 for each additional 15 minutes.

The member was very correct in her statement that the previous owners had not kept good care of the house. She wanted some help in cleaning certain areas of the house before it was painted and before they moved in. It was our understanding that she wanted the bathrooms (one which is located in the basement) cleaned first and the woodwork hand wiped including the inside of the cupboards in bathrooms and kitchen. She also wanted the oven cleaned. The previous owners had not cleaned their house for a very long time. There was so much soap scum and mold build up in the bathrooms that razor blades had to be used on the tubs to scrape the build up off. The floors were stained and in very poor shape. The oven was also in very bad shape along with the top of the stove. The individual cleaning the kitchen allowed the oven cleaner to sit and work as long as she could before she started cleaning. Due to the time constraints imposed by the member, the oven cleaner could not soak as long as possible to work on the build-up inside the oven. The insides of the basement bathroom, upstairs bathroom and kitchen cupboards were cleaned. The linoleum floors were vacuumed, but not all the them were able to be mopped due to time contstraints. The member wanted to hold the price of the clean at $220, which is one hour and 30 minutes for a four person team. Since there were three people on the team, the cleaning fee was prorated at the rate for a three person team. The one hour and 45 minutes that the team was there cleaning was charged at the prorated fee of $192. The team stayed within the member's budget requirements as requested. When the office was contacted about the dissatisfication of the amount of work accomplished by the team and the concern that the master bathroom had not be cleaned, an offer to clean the master bathroom at no cost to the member was made. She accepted the offer and a time convenient for the member and her mother was arranged. The field manager arrived at the house at the appointed time and did clean the master bathroom. The master bathroom also was in very poor condition from the previous homeowner's lack of cleaning and abuse of their property. Once again a razor blade had to be used to scrape a large amount of soap scum and mold build-up on the bathroom fixtures. The member received this cleaning at no charge to her. When a house has not been maintained and cleaned properly it can take more than one cleaning to remove the months and years of abuse and lack of maintenance. We sympathize with the member that the previous owners had very little pride or motivation to maintain their house. When the team has a time restriction, we can only clean to that time restriction. This house, through no fault's of the member, was in bad shape and required extra time that the team was not allowed. We can clean things, but we cannot make them look new after they have been abused and stained from lack of maintenance. It is quite apparent that the member has pride in her new home and will maintain it and take much better care of it than the previous owners. The member will make the house a home. We wish her many happy times and memories in her new home.

We received a return call from our inquiry the next day. They were very cooperative in scheduling according to our needs. Four cleaners were on time (even early) and finished within the time they estimated. It was a very good experience as they did all we discussed and more. We would use them again.
