Terminix - Wichita -Termite & Pest Control

Do not recommend for service. Be careful of their fraud charge!!!! I had a service with Terminix for gutter guard installation and insulation on October 24th. On October 16th, I was contacted by Melissa Bane for an additional discount offer on this project, so I decided to go with it. I was quoted for $719.18 for the insulation installation and $1,611.43 for the Gutter guard installation. I was then connected from the local Terminix office, I believe the guy's name is Matt, his phone number is 316-253-3963. I made a payment via credit card and Matt told me that the credit card information wouldn't be stored in the system. I gave out my credit card info and scheduled the service on October 24th. Then, on Octorber 28th, I was charged an additional of $940.26 on my credit card for the insulation service. I called the customer service immediately and was told that the refund ticket had been created. After several calls, I was told on November 2nd that the refund may take up to 3-4 business days. However, up till today, I have not received the refunded yet. A charge of $940 was made without my consent and I wonder why my credit card information is stored even though I was told it wouldn't. Please understand that I have to use my saving money to pay this charge to avoid a late fee on my account. And no one can really explain or tell me when I will receive my refund that is caused from one of your employee's mistakes. This makes me very upset and frustrated. I have made several phone calls to customer service only to be told that the refund would be processed and I never received it. I decided to cancel all my contracts with Terminix due to this fraud charge. You have lost a customer due to your inability to solve this problem professionally.

No one arrived for appointment which was supposed to be between 10 - 12 a.m. on Nov 2. They called about 12:15 and said they didn't have time today and needed to reschedule....I said forget it.

They interact with the customer well and seemed to be conscientious.

I don't like that company, I think they are rude, they don't follow instructions, but I am stuck with them, because we have used them for 20 some odd years. I pay over $300 per year. The actual service that they perform is good. They are so eager to get out, before they do anything. They don't seem to listen. For the last two years, they want to come out in January and perform the service, when my bill is not due until June, and they want me to pay then. I am not going to pay them 6 months earlier. I would like them to come out closer to when my bill is due. I have told them to call me, and to inform me, but they are just not getting it. I have to scream at them, and I think that because 20 years ago, my dad had termites checked, so we have them come out every year to check for termites. I just think it is a little steep for us to pay them $300 for over 20 years. They should listen to the customer, and provide the service closer to the billing date.

We have taken advantage of the protection plan on several occasions to deal with spiders and ants in the house. The Terminix team has done an excellent job treating both inside and outside the house all but eliminate our spider and ant problems. It is also comforting to know that my house is protected from termites and that I can have an exterminator out to the house if I or my wife come across ants, spiders, rats, or other pests.

Treatments worked well. We are now on service plan.

They explained that I would have to sign a one year contract. I was willing to sign the contract but the coupon said I would get $50 off exterminating services, when they came, they said they could not honor it at full value, they offered to give me $30 instead of $50 because they already offered the $20 discount. Regardless of that, the full value of the coupon should've been applied as stated.

They were exceptional, friendly, on time, professional, and did an excellent job. They were very efficient. They told jokes it was 100 degrees out and they were amazing. It is about $30 dollars a month.

They are great and their work is done well. They have done what I have asked them to do and have ensured my home is spider free. They were the cheapest when I first started using them.

I put the stakes in the ground every four feet apart and place plastic cones over them and they attract the termites. The termites get in there and die. Termites take a while before they come back so it's several years before I have to purchase new ones. I haven't seen any termites since I have been using them. It is probably a whole lot cheaper than getting a termite exterminator out here. It does the job safely.

They guarantee their work and call before they come.

They are great. They are a very good company. I am completely satisfied with them. They give excellent service. They had problems with their computer for scheduling, but it has been fixed. They call two days ahead before the come. The service man calls the day before to give me the exact time that he will be here.

They did a good job.

We've had Terminex for a couple of years. Our main issue is when we needed to discontinue service for a period of time, they offered to reduce their fee by about 25%. They said if we restarted later, they could not give us the discount on the restart. It's frustrating to learn that they were willing to discount their fee so heavily after two years of apparently paying their premium price. Pricing is the primary reason we don't plan on using their services in the future.

.They have been fine. What they do is, they have put stations in the ground all around 10 years ago and they come around every so often and check them for termite activity. They have not found any in all that time. But we found evidence of termite when we were doing a renovation of the basement. They came out and looked at it thoroughly and have been treated in the past. We found them professional and fine to work with. The annual contract is like an insurance against getting termites. We will continue to use them in the future.
