Description of Work: Ice maker repair. However, the ice maker needed replacement and couldn't be repaired.

Description of Work: BIG FAT F. We consider no contact as very poor service. Three weeks of no contact is a FAIL.

Description of Work: Replaced a panel on a Maytag wall oven. The problem was diagnosed within 5 mins and he advised us as to the cost benefit ratio of repair vs replacement. Once we decided to repair the oven he ordered the part and installed it within a day after it's arrival in town. He has always been very professional and also very helpful when it comes to repairing and item vs replacing it. |I have used Spade Appliance before and they are usually my first call when appliance repairs are needed.

Description of Work: Our refrigerator, which is less than a year old, began pouring water from the front door water dispenser. We turned the water off but continued to hear a motor running, which ultimately turned into a loud rattling sound. When we contacted the manufacturer, they provided us with the names and numbers of several repair services in our area. We were so fortunate that we contacted Spade. | |Ken, the owner, had a tight schedule but managed to work us in that same day. The repairs were covered under the warranty, so there was no charge to us. Spade Appliance Service will be our go to repair service , and we will gladly recommend this business to others.

Description of Work: This was a warranty issue, therefore I paid nothing for the repair. Mr Spade was very responsive and thorough and fixed the problem on my wall oven. I recommended him to a friend and she liked him as well. I will use his services in the future if need be.

Description of Work: diagnosed the problem with the ice maker and suggested alternatives

Description of Work: Fixed my front loading washer, which was spinning erratically. Also trouble shooted a problem with my dryer.

Description of Work: Our icemaker had not worked in quite a while, and when the ice chute in the door malfunctioned as well we finally had to get it fixed. We had previously priced replacing the icemaker and Spade was almost $100 less expensive than the quote we had received from someone else.

Description of Work: When moving into a new home, the movers bounced the washing machine down the stairs. The timer was damaged. After calling Sears and being told I would have to wait 3 weeks, I called a few other companies and Spade was able to come out the next day by noon. He explained what was wrong and how it happened (the pins were not put in the washer for moving). Now I can file a claim with the movers and he fixed it the next day when the part was available.
