Description of Work: Had Mr. Shigley out to do an estimate on a master bath remodel. Was very interested in using him as I felt he seemed knowledgable. Our ideas on the project seemed to match up and I liked him. He never got back to me with any sort of an estimate. Wasted my time by coming to the house and not following through. I did not contact him as I felt if he wasn't interested enough in the work, he probably wouldn't do a good job if we had hired him.

+ -1 moreThe time frame was followed according to plan, and each task was completed on time. One day was lost due to weather. But Shigley’s lead man, Travis, easily brought the schedule back to its proper sequence. We were very impressed with the results. The ceiling matched the old perfectly. The structure was well built, and the outside walls look as though they were original. The final price was below what we were expecting, even with some changes. This was a very positive experience.
Description of Work: The task was to remodeled an existing covered deck into a dining room. The roof was part of the existing house. The main items needed were a foundation poured, floor and walls built, interior structures to match the old. Special problems presented were: the foundation needed to be deeper than usual, the old deck removed without disturbing existing roof. Interior walls, ceiling with popcorn texture, and floors to be level with existing ones . Also added, one window and one door. There were other items requested beyond the room addition. All were completed to our satisfaction . Tim Shigley presented an excellent design, that was exactly what we asked for. He also presented drawings, and a time frame that was very aggressive. In addition, he gave several suggestions to make the construction better, and in some cases less expensive. Each suggestion was backed up with experience and factual data.

+ -1 moreShigley Construction really made me feel comfortable and they kept me very well informed on everything that was being done. I have felt overwhelmed in the past with other projects but not with this one.
Description of Work: Shigley completely refinished 1,700 square feet in my unfinished basement which included 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a work shop area.
