The whole experience was awesome from the customer service I had called to the tech person. Tech person came right on time as promised and he trouble shot the problem and every step of the way he gave me updates, suggestion and price.

We came in and the house was hot, went out there the motor was not turning. Called them they came out the very next day and they put in a new fan motor; because the compressor was getting hot.

Our air conditioner stopped working properly so we initially called our home warranty (American Home Shield) who couldn't send anyone out for six days. The temperature kept rising and after $200 spent on fans and our bedroom temp still being 90 at night with all the windows open, we decided to call other companies ourselves. Roth Heating & Air was the only company that was able to provide same-day service - the two others we called were estimating anywhere from a 2-5 day wait. The technician arrived within two hours of my call. He wasn't rude by any means, but not the friendliest, although knowledgable which is what matters most. Did a thorough inspection and determined that our capacitor was not functioning properly so replaced that as well as serviced our air conditioner (washing it, checking components, etc.) since we hadn't had that done for the year. He also advised us that our unit was actually too small for the house, which we had no idea about since we bought it as a resale, so it's good to have that information for when it needs to be replaced down the road. There were some companies we called that had a cheaper pricing structure (Roth was $79 for first 30-minutes, plus $25 for each 15 minute increment thereafter) but in a time crunch, we were willing to pay a little more. They also offer annual maintenance plans that cover spring & fall tune-ups, which we will likely look into in the future since it offers a discount on any service calls during the contract year.

They fit me into the schedule the day I requested service. Doug was on time and seemed to be knowledgable regarding A/C units; he explained to me everything I needed to know and clearly laid out my options. Bonus points for being on time. Really happy with my service and will use these guys again next time I have an issue related to my A/C or heating unit. Price was also very reasonable compared to the other companies.

The work was done right the first time. I haven't had to have them back out to repair anything. Check up only took about half hour and left area clean.

I called first thing in the morning and my airconditioner was fixed & working by 12:30. So pleased!

Had multiple ignition issues with gas furnace. Tried to troubleshoot myself and ran out of ideas. Called after hours number in middle of a snow storm and service tech came out to help. Arrived as on time as you can be in a storm, quick analysis determined it just needed a service. Managed to get everything cleaned and done in under and hour and keep it at just the base after hours 1 hour call rate, rather than the extra surcharge. Very quick, polite, and efficient.

Tim was very patient, thorough and professional explaining to me what the problem was, he had it figured out in probably less than 10 minutes. He even answered my questions about the humidifier and other connected parts that were not part of the problem. He got the heater back up and running just fine in no time. He then went ahead and cleaned out the system, checked to make sure that it was safe and had no types of leaks, he also took care of the humidifier at my request which I didn't even know how to use until he explained it to me. Very knowledgeable technician, very polite and friendly, would gladly recommend him and his company to others without hesitation. I was a little concerned having never had to hire a heating company before, but it was not nearly as bad as I worried about. They also offer options which Tim explained to me; again at my request for maintenance agreements. Very knowledgeable and no pressure explanations. I don't have a basis for comparison price wise since everyone else wanted me to wait until the next week to even look at it, but I did not feel like I was being ripped off.

They promptly set up and came out to do the estimate and they were here on time. The estimate required that they have an electrician come out. The electrician came out the next day which was a Friday and Roth was to give me the estimate on Monday. They did not call me again until Wednesday and their bid was over 30% higher than the other two I had. He said it was because the other companies were quoting 12000 BTU units and his was 20000 BTU. He also indicated that both of them were specifying units that were way undersized. I checked with the other. I contacted the other estimaters and they both assured me that the load was about 9000 BTU for a 100 degree day and with the existing A/C supplying some cooling that the 12000 BTU unit would be more than able to handle the load.

They seem very competent and it is the company that had been involved with this furnace previously so I felt comfortable with their knowledge of what we had and all. Well it is difficult to give a good assessment considering that it was such a menial service call.

From start to finish Roth Heating and Air has been very cordial and professional. A problem I have had with local (Wichita KS) businesses is the inability to return phone calls or contact customers in a timely fashion. I DID NOT have that problem this time with Roth. Mickey at the office was very friendly and easy to work with in setting up the appointment. Tim the serviceman was very good at his job and took his time to make sure the job was done right. Originally the job was scheduled for Tuesday, but I got a call on Friday afternoon saying they could come right away. Tim arrived shortly there after and went right to work. While he didn't actually whistle while he worked, there was some humming and dadadaing going on. :-) I think it's nice to find someone who enjoys his work so well. When he didn't have the part he drove to a supplier to get one. Everything is working normally now, and I have my a/c back up and running in time for the 90 degree weather this weekend. I most definitely will be using Roth's services again.

We needed a second opinion so after making the service call appointment they were here 2 days later calling before they came...He checked the unit inside and out and said everything was running fine and that in the future to let them know when we need service...I was so happy about the great service we received that I had a 10% off coupon I refused to use but wanted to pay full price instead...If we would have stayed with the first company it would have cost us thousands of dollars so absolutely positively without question yes we would recommend Roth ...

We called Roth based on the excellent comments on Angie's list. We wanted a good dependable company to come out to service our air condiditioning unit, which they did. We are extremely happy with Roth. Jesse arrived on time, was very patient with all of our questions, gave good informative answers, and did his job professionally and quickly. We did sign a maintenance agreement. Very good prices and choices. There were no sales gimmicks or pressure to buy. We have confidence and peace of mind with Roth.

Jess was on time, put up with all my questions and provided top service. I would recommend Roth for any HVAC service or installation. I will certainly use them in the future.

I have used them for years and they have always done a good job.

The date I furnished is approximate. I just remember it was late summer or early fall. They came out soon after I contacted them and were very professional. They actually installed my unit probably 15 or 16 years ago and have taken care of it since. I will definitely use them again.
