Showed up at the begining of the 4hr window. introduced himself was very pleasent and professional heard what i had to say went and checked theromostate and then checked out the furnance. was done in an hour and we have heat in the house again. temp was -1 outside.

First off they came out the same day we called ! They called ahead and said he was on the way which we really appreciated... Furnace wouldn't turn on till 30 minutes after being asked so Roth checked it said it only needed to be cleaned which took only 30 minutes...Plus before he left he checked the safety features and made sure they were operating properly...They are highly recommended...

my house suffered a lot of damage during a spring hail storm. among the items to be fixed were remove and replace the vent cap for the furnace and comb out the air conditioner fins. I called Hanna for an estimate because they originally installed the furnace and air conditioner. I was told they couldn't give me an estimate without looking at it. I understood that, but to come look at it would cost a 95 dollar service charge. so I called Roth, because of the good rating they had on Angie's list. they came out and gave me a free estimate. then did the work for the agreed upon estimate price.

My old package unit went out and instead of repairing decided to go ahead and replace. Mike from Roth came out and gave me options and told me that I didn't have enough return air capacity since the house has had addition onto it in the past, but it wasn't updated. After telling me the warranty on the Amana I decided to go with it. They had one problem since the original new unit was damaged by the trucking company and they had to have another brought in. They did go ahead and do the return air duct work in the meantime and were professional. Polite, neat and had the parts needed with them instead of having to go hunt down more parts. When the new unit came in they were ready to change it out and did it quickly. Everybody was willing to explain any questions that I had. Would recommend them.

Service was great! He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone down to 2 things it could be. Had it fixed within 45 minutes and that included cleaning the unit. The whole service call was less than what others wanted to charge just to come out before anything was fixed. Will definitely use them in the future!

Tech arrived on time and was professional. Performed thorough inspection of two ac units. Didn't have right filters on truck so he had someone bring them to site. Job well done.

I was very impressed from start to finish. No complaints. Problem was identified and repaired the following day after notification of non-functioning AC. The condenser of 1st AC needed replaced. Then returned as scheduled to do routine maintenance of 2nd AC. I will definitely use them again.

Roth technician determined a blower motor failure. A universal replacement motor carried on the Roth vehicle was installed. Checks were performed to assure that the installed motor functioned properly and solved the original problem. Other inspection checks were performed to verify that the gas furnace was operating correctly. Technician answered other general questions that we had about air duct cleaning and Roth's Heating and Cooling Maintenance Services. Technician provided extensive information and insight to our questions non-aggressively, i.e., he did not try to sell us a service, e.g., duct cleaning, if he did not see a pressing need for service. Roth technician worked fast and efficiently and was very professional in all that he did.

When the problem was not resolved - we had another contractor come out. Within 30 minutes they figured out the problem. The house is a bi-level with large west windows. The windows are not great and allow in quite a bit of heat - but the biggest problem was that a return air vent had never been placed on the upper level of the house. All the hot air accumulates around the ceiling and is trapped. There is no way to pull the hot air back out of the upper level (living area) of the house. The new contractor suggested we install a vent and duct work back down to the furnace and also install a larger blower to push more air through the vents. I think this will resolve much of the problem. I wish Roth had someone that could detect this issue - without replacing needless parts on the AC units.

Excellent overall experience. Service tech was professional and courteous. Pricing seemed fair. I will certainly call Roth for any future HVAC needs.

I called Roth shortly after they opened (around 8:15am) on a Monday morning because the burner on my gas furnace was not lighting. The technician arrived and found that the electric ignitor was was not working (it had cracked) and needed to be replaced. He had the parts with him and was able to replace the ignitor and get the furnace working again. He also performed many other checks to ensure the furnace was working correctly. He was completely finished and my furnace was working again by 9:45am that same morning. The responsiveness was outstanding, the technician was friendly and courteous, the repair costs were reasonable and I even received a 10% discount from an Angie's List coupon.

They inspect for problems and do necessary cleaning, oiling, whatever required. I do not follow them or watch what they do. I have used them for years and with only one glitch when it took a long time to diagnose a minor problem. They are professional, trust worthy and reasonable. They give a senior discount also. Will continue to use for any HVAC service.

I waited until 8:30 on Monday morning to call for help even though my air conditioning was out over part of the weekend. Roth was able to commit to a time between 10 am and 2 pm, asked me if I was at work and how long it took for me to get home, and said they would call me so that I had time to get home to meet the technician. I told them I picked them from Angie's LIst and that I saw the coupon for 10% off on a service call. They called about 11:15 am; I followed their technician into my neighborhood. The technician was very professional and polite. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. I authorized another 30 minutes for cleaning and tightening wires. At the end of the visit the technician reassured me that everything else looked great (I had visions of needing a new system) and gave me the 10% discount on the service call. That more than paid for my Angie's List one year membership. My experience with Roth Heating and Air was completely positive and exceeded my expectations from the initial telephone contact through completion of the work. Given how hot it was and how many people were having air conditioning problems, I was shocked that they could come as fast as they did. And it was such a joy to return home that night to a comfortable house. I give Roth the highest of recommendations.

The serviceman was very courteous, very professional and was someone you feel good about being in your home. His name was Val and he represented the company well. I understand why they have such high reviews.

The AC serviceman diagnosed the problem quickly, and although my AC is old, he was able to replace my bad fan motor with a new one that would work, given a little re-wiring. He gave me an estimate on the spot, but he actually finished a little quicker than he anticipated, so the bill was a little less than the estimate. I talked to him while he worked, and learned that he had been with the company for over 30 years. That fact alone told me that this company takes care of both its employees and its customers. I believe you can have confidence in Roth, because they people who own the company as well as those who work for it are good folks. The AC has been working beautifully, too!

Roth Heating & Air came out and looked at my air conditioner and told me what was wrong with it and then they told me how much it would cost to replace it and I had it replaced. When I called them they came out the same day and there really wasn't anything they could do because it was broken beyond repair, but they explained everything. They were courteous and gave me my 10% discount for using Angie's List.

They have done work for us for years. I just tell them to do whatever they need to do because they have always been reasonably priced and done quality work. They are very competitively priced. They are very professional.

They always take the time to handle your issues quickly and that is the biggest thing, and they do a good job. I have been using them for about thirteen years.

The quality of the work varies with the visit. I'd like to grade them B's across the board.

I got estimates from 4 companies to replace my furnace and AC. Roth was not the cheapest (within 5% of the next highest), but they came with recommendations. The sales rep, Mike Micthell provided a thorough estimate with multiple options. The installation team was quick and took great care to protect our home. We love the new furnace, it keeps the house a a more even temperature than the 16 year old unit.

Once the company was contacted it was not long before they sent someone out to give me an estimate. They went over the options with me and gave me a quote on a new ac unit as well. The job took about two days and they worked hard to get it done in the time they told me it would be complete. There was one minor problem detected after a couple of days. The service man was prompt in coming to check it out. He explained the problem to me and corrected it.

Noticed our 19 year old furnace was blowing cool air. Took a look inside the unit and suspected the ignitor had finally failed. (This is the part on a modern gas furnace that is expected to fail every couple of years.) Called Roth at 9:00am and spoke with a friendly lady who scheduled me for service. By 11:30am I recieved a courtesy call that the service man was on the way. By 11:50am he had arrived and shortly thereafter confirmed the ignitor was bad. He replaced the ignitor with a replacement he had on the truck, and the furnace fired up normally. Problem fixed. He also performed an inspection of our heat exchanger with a portable fiber optic camera gizmo, and everything looked good. Our furnace is situated in a small room and not particularly easy to work with. He was quick but not rushed, and by 12:30am or so everything was repaired, buttoned back up, and fully operational. Less than 4 hours from initial phone call to completed repair....very satisfied customer here. I thought the price was reasonable, of course you can buy parts cheaper online but sometimes the piece of mind that comes with hiring a professional is worth it. Now, in addition to the repair, we can also be confident our furnace is operating safely.
