Drew was right on time, very professional and personable. He listened to my concerns about the leaks I had experienced since I had my roof replaced in Nov 2006. He caulked around trouble spots and even caulked in places the original roofer (Strum Brothers) had not done. He left me his card and told me to call him if any of the trouble spots leaked again. I have full confidence in Rhoden Roofing, and plan to keep his card on my refrig.

Honestly, how many times do you replace a roof on your home? For us, this is only the second roof we've replaced in 45 years of home ownership. This was also our very first homeowners insurance claim in 45 years. Our knowledge of re-roofing is about rated zero. We happen to have known John Rhoden personally, since he was a kid in high school. We adored him. At first, I was very angry with our sales person, who three times out-and-out insulted my intelligence by not being truthful with me. However, it is never good to write a review about a company or anything until you have given yourself time to let the anger pass and rethink how you really feel. Originally I was ready to give them all Fs, as our interior ceilings had showed damage, and we were afraid it would get worse because we couldn't get the work done. But I thought about the staggering number of people who also had damage. In addition, one week after the storm in Wichita, another hail storm occurred in OK, which stressed the staff to a breaking point. Everyone was waiting in line, not just us. Rhoden was attempting to finish his backlog as quickly as possible. His company was working seven days a week. They were trying their best. The lone shining star, the jewel in the crown of Rhoden Roofing, is Mr. Keith Ludwig. He is extraordinarily professional and knowledgeable, not to mention easy on an old broad's eyes. He was personally responsible for persuading our insurance company to replace our damaged windows. If you should select Rhoden Roofing, here are a couple of tips to help you have a better experience: Try to deal with directly with wither Mr. John Rhoden or Mr. Keith Ludwig. If you only need to select your materials, and your salesman is having any difficulty keeping appointments with you, just run over to their office. They have hundreds of samples available. This eliminates the need for the salesman to bring anything by your home. In the final analysis, be patient when we have large numbers of homes damaged. Had we replaced our roof any other time of the year, it probably would have taken days rather than months and resulted in all "A"s for Rhoden Roofing. The old adage about never doing business with relatives or friends seems to have been borne out as this has soured our deep affection for John.

This is the first roof I've had replaced, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I thought they did a really good job. The materials arrived the day before and it only took them one day to remove the old shingles and put on the new. I like that they spray paint the pipes and vents coming out of the roof to match the color of the roof. It makes them less noticeable. The communication was also very good. Whenever I had a question I could call or email and the response was very quick, if not immediate. Brett was who I dealt with and he didn't talk down to me because I am a woman, some of the other roofing companies did, and was very professional. Will definitely use again.

Rhoden worked directly with the insurance adjuster, providing the hail damage replacement estimate which enabled us to obtain a full replacement of our residence roof. The work team was properly staffed to execute the total job in one week. Supervision was always there and they kept us informed.

The person I spoke to never called or showed up as scheduled on Monday 9/16/2013. We will never use them at all.

Very well. John was concerned with getting my room dry because of forecast rain. He let me know immediately when he had to change a part of the roof install for proper drainage. His crew was fast and professional. Overall, a very good experience.

The supervisor was very courteous and professional. He went above and beyond by coming out late in the evening to tarp damaged areas bc he knew it was going to rain that night. He also came out on a Saturday when the adjuster came. When the job was finished, he came and made sure everything was done correctly and magnet rolled the yard a second time to check for nails and debris. We had two areas of our ceiling that had some damage from the old roof, he went up into our attic space to take pictures for us to send into insurance.

The Rhoden inspector was very professional throughout the process and was always punctual. They seemed to contract out with a local company who installed class IV shingles with a 50 year warranty. They tore off all the old shingles and tarp etc. and healed it off nicely. They also ran a magnet two times picking up excess nails from the roof install. The guttering and wind turbines were installed flawlessly. The only complaint I would have is that one of my very cheap/plastic gutter extensions got damaged by falling debris but other than that everything went smoothly. I have referred them to several other friends and they also have had no problems with this company.

Called Rhoden Roofing to examine my roof for hail and wind damage. This was an insurance claim. Salesman and president of company arrived to evaluate my needs, and to provide estimate and proposal to replace my roof. They answered all of my questions and provided additional information about alternative shingle products (50-year vs. 40-year, high impact, high wind resistance, etc.). Proposal was prepared and delivered in two days. Seven other roofing companies took as long as 10 days to deliver proposals. The company also assisted me in dealing with my insurance company and were present when the insurance estimator came to inspect the roof. Crews arrived when scheduled and performed excellent work. Clean-up was thorough, removing all loose roofing debris and nails from my property. Salesman visited my home each day that the roofers were installing the new roof. The original price quoted in the proposal was all inclusive and there were no hidden or sudden charges at the completion of the job.

They were attentive and the guy came out several times to make sure the work was done correctly. He even went to bat for me when the insurance company didn't want to buy a good quality of shingles. I would give him all A's across the board. l would use him again in the future if needed.

Very professional, responsive, worked us into the schedule. Had guys out that were professional, knew what they were doing, and got the job done right, quick, and for a fair price. We will use them again for sure.

It went great. Had the boys from Rhoden come out and do the repairs to our shake roof. They were out to do the work a couple of days after Brett stopped by to estimate. Work was fast and well done. Brett was extremely friendly and responsive and made sure the job was to our liking before he billed us.

There sales people came out to my house and were willing to meet with the insurance adjuster to work on the claim. They were able to meet with them while I was at work and got confirmation that the roof was a covered expense. Following we were able to set up a day for the new roof. They were able to take off the old and install the new within 24 hours. They even were able to provide new plywood, and rafters were some of the old ones had rotted out. All in all, a job well done. Job was done on time as promised. Quality of work was excellent. They worked around our personal schedules including when our dog was in daycare & when we were on vacation. We owe this flexibility to working with Brett Olivier. He also was instrumental in making sure we were in compliance with the Homeowners Association requirements.We hadn't thought about that but Brett did. He contacted them personally & will be a great help to you if you need a new roof!

Overall they did a very good job. The owner John Rhoden came out when they presented the estimate to answer any questions and really sell us on their company. They had a competitive bid and were responsive through the process, while for some other companies I had to call more than once just to get a call back. The new roof looks great and they did a nice job of cleaning up afterward. We had only one issue thus far, the soffits vents were placed in an incorrect spot (not under the roof but instead under a bedroom). They (Keith) were quick to respond and fix the problem however, so I feel that even if things go wrong (they always do), it's more important that you are working with someone who wants to make sure you are 100% satisfied vs. someone who disappears after you've paid the bill. Rhoden Roofing is certainly the former.

Overall, a good experience. Locally owned business that seems to take pride in customer service and quality. The sales rep was very responsive up-front in completing the estimate and setting up a time to meet and review the work to be done. Without them seeing the insurance claim, their price and work to be done was very closely matched to the claim. I had obtained quotes from 2 other local roofers and they all seemed to line up farily close. Once price/work was agreed upon, I was told that I would be added to the schedule and work would be done sometime mid-November. The guttter replacement was part of work, but sub-contracted out to another local company. As that approximate time approached, I had not heard anything. So I called the rep and he responded that it would start in the next two days. It was a little concerning that I had to call to confirm the workdate, but in the end not a huge inconvenience. Roofing work was finished in 1 day and they were very conscious to avoid damaging property and very good at clean-up. So far, have only found a few minor pieces of trash laying around, and NO nails which is great. Gutters were completed about 2 weeks later and never met that sub-contractor. The gutter work seems to be good, but not as good of quality as the previous that were in place. Guessing the gutters will last 5-10 years. In the end, would recommend this company to anyone looking for good work at expected price.

We were completely satisfied with the results. Although some items were left on premises like a wire mesh in the yard and some boards, we would recommend Rhoden Roofing to others.

Keith was very attentive on progress of the work being done,checking on progress from time to time.The crew showed up a little late,but no one likes monday morning,right?I found nails in the driveway,it was dark out when they finished.The next day they ran a magnet over my property and that was the end of that problem.Keith took the nails I had collected and I am sure he and the crew boss had a meeting about it.The cedar on the chimney was damaged,an offer was made to reduce the final bill,I choose to repair the damage myself,and just be paid for my material cost.It cost me about twenty five dollars to correct and I never did try to collect on their offer for my costs.It was not a big deal to me.I have had to have my home reroofed three times since 1984,twice I was pleased,rhoden is one of those two.I would use them again,and tell others to do the same.It was stress free using their company,and the house looks great to me.

I was very reluctant to contract any roofing company since years ago I had a terrible and costly experience with a roofing company that went AWOL after the job was completed. I read the reviews, on Angie's List, for Rhoden Roofing and had the best experience with them recently. From the salesman Brett to the overseeing of John (the owner), they were nothing less than professional and courteous. Brett was on the job site from beginning(meeting with the insurance adjuster), middle, and completion of our roof. Any concerns I expressed were taken seriously and professionally. John and Brett always responded immediately and courteously. I feel John works to satisfy every customer and would immediately respond if there were any issues. It is my understanding that John has been in the roofing business for over 10 years. Finally, I have found a roofing company that I feel secure with and one that is honest with their customers. I believe Rhoden Roofing to stand behind all their work now and in the future.
