Hire this company after a fire at our home left us homeless with one expectation the job had to be completed by a specific date. Three weeks after my can not miss date when the job was not even close to being finished and after noumorous lies told by the owner of the company I fired them. I actually think he worked with my insurance company and mortgage company to insure I lost my home and the 40k equity we had in our house. After refusing to sign over the last insurance check I met with him to discuss the matter and he brought a gun to the negotiation. Avoid this company at all cost.

Horrible. They never showed when they said they would. Mr Potier actually doesn’t have his own crew. He is a middle man and hires the jobs out with other companies. A job that only should have taken two weeks at the most, took over 3 months, I should have done my homework some more. He has terrible reviews here, yelp and other places. He also has lied on his resume saying he had been in business since 1980. Actually I did research after and found the business was established in 2013,

Not well Took 10 months and still not finished. I fired them. They would not show up, they left construction mess all over my yards. The work they did do is horrible. I have many pics. The owner contracts the work out and blames others for mess ups. When the did come to work , they would work for an hour or so then leave and show back up at end of day. I would estimate they maybe worked 6 hours a week total. Please beware !!!

The first day they started breaking up the concrete and shoving it and all the pieces of the pool into the pool cavity. The documents clearly stated that all debris was to be removed, not put in the pool cavity. After bringing this to their attention, they (the Owner and Project Manager) said it was fine, not a problem, and continued to push everything into the pool cavity. When the consultant learned of the situation, he made them stop work and told them that if they continued, they would not be paid. All the debris needed to be dug up and hauled off per the instructions in the contract. They (the Owner and Project Manager) walked off the job, threatening to pull off the job completely. Several days later, they were back (after intense conversations with the consultant), dug up the debris and placed it in my yard, in front of my detached garage, destroying the yard because they had made no provisions for disposing of the debris. During the removal of the debris and hauling in fill dirt, they damaged my fence in several places, damaged a couple of concrete pads, the roof on the house, fascia, and guttering with their excavator and skid steer. They managed to scatter river rock all over the backyard, the side and front yard of the detached garage. After seeing the quality of their work on replacing one of the damaged concrete pads, we required a separate concrete contractor to repair the damage to the concrete section of the fence. Their pricing, now looking back, was high. They charged $654 to remove a Pergola from the Pool House. It was in bad shape, so at most, it would have taken them an hour to manually remove it ($654/hr.), but they used the excavator and had it down in about 5 min. Good wages for a short period of time. They charged us $654 to remove and replace a section of fence so they could get the excavator and skid steer in the back yard. They removed the fence, left it down for the entire length of the job (months) and reinstalled it when they were finished. The contractor we hired to clean up their mess took the fence down and put up back up each day they were on the job (three days). It took about 10 min. to take down and put it back up. Again good wages for a short period of time. They charged us $98/ea. for an Electrical Permit and for a Demolition Permit, which were required for the job. When the Consultant wanted copies of the permit, they (the Owner and Project Manager) argued and fought with him, saying Permits were not required. They did not intend to get permits at all. They only pulled them after they the consultant requested to see them in order to be paid. At that time, the job was almost complete. When they considered the job finished, they wanted the Final Draw Request Inspection. Neither the Consultant nor we considered the job complete. The final grade was not correct and needed more fill dirt. They (the Owner and Project Manager) informed us the grade was OK and they REFUSED to bring in any more dirt. They also argued and yelled at the consultant, walked off the job, pulled their company sign and said they were done. We fired them, paid them a portion of the original bid and hired new contractors. Their price was so high that, had they completed the work as agreed upon, we would have had a bare back yard. With the money left over, we were able to hire another contractor, who corrected all the grading issues, brought in more fill dirt, laid sod in the backyard and seeded the other areas that were damaged by the equipment and over seeded other areas of the yard. Had we not had to have a Consultant, I am sure this would have ended up in court. Our Consultant was worth every penny we paid him. I wasted many days of vacation babysitting this company. Many of the days they said they would be on site, they would show up around 10:30 if they showed up at all. This job started mid-November 2015 and we fired them in the end of February 2016. To be fair there were some weather delays as well. Had they done the job according to the contract, it should have been completed by the end of 2015. They did repair what they tore up, but it usually took two, three or more tries to get it right and many phone calls, some of them heated. They never did get the river rock cleaned up. My personal recommendation is stay as far away from this company as possible, but if you do use Paramount Construction, get a consultant and have everything spelled out to the smallest detail in a signed document. As the saying goes “Caveat Emptor”, let the Buyer Beware.
Description of Work: We hired Paramount Construction to remove and fill in an in-ground pool, replace a couple of rows of bad siding, paint to match, grade the area where the pool was to the proper grade, and do final grading so it would be ready to plant grass. This project was under an FHA refinance loan that had specific instructions on how the work was to be completed, and under the supervision of a consultant. Paramount signed the documents and the contract.
